This place seemed ok, but right off the bat there was a vacant building with junk all inside. It didn’t look well kept. The lady at the cash register didn’t speak English or know how to give the right change back to us. No signs up to say what trees had what apples or peaches. It was hard to even find where the peaches were. We made the best of it bc i took my 3 kids and my in laws. After picking apples and peaches we went to pay and wow, over $50!! We had to pay an entry fee of $4 per person then had to pay for all the fruit by weight. That’s way too pricy!! Then to top it all off when I got home and washed all the apples and peaches I found maggots all over the peaches! 🍑 my stomach wasn’t feeling good that same day and next day..I had to throw out a bunch of peaches that weren't good. I’m very upset and disappointed. Would not recommend going at all.
View on GoogleParkway Orchard is a total gem on the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake! Super easy to find on the main road, not heavy on the wallet, and packed with fresh, tasty fruits. We grabbed cherries and peaches in July—absolutely worth every bite (and every dollar)!
View on GoogleMy husband and my parents went to this peach picking location for the first time so we didn’t know what to expect but it turned out to be a lot easier than expected. They block off (4 rows) for the public to enjoy. However I was a bit disappointed to see so many peaches on the ground around the trees. I hope they can repick the ones that are good and sell them. The pricing came out to be a lot cheaper than what you’d get in store.
View on GoogleWe had such a wonderful time at Parkway Orchards today! 🍑 The peaches were fresh, sweet, and super juicy — truly the taste of summer. The farm is well organized, easy to reach, and very family-friendly. Staff were kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy fruit picking and a relaxing day outdoors!
View on GoogleIt was my first time picking peaches so I didn't know how to recognize which ones to pick. I asked and they said twist the peach, if it comes off easily, they are ready. Just like apple picking. There is a price to in the orchard and then, its 4$ per pound. It goes up fast. I found there was a lot a trash near the trees. Not so nice to see. However, it was a fun activity to do for the whole family.
