Horrible service, and no access to parts needed. We run 7 Palfinger booms. They are good products, until it comes time to service them. Expect long delays for "Parts". Every winter when we get them saftied, each unit will be down for a month. There is always 1 or 2 parts that are holding the whole thing up. Currently I have a unit that has been in the shop for 2 weeks, it had a small leak on the front outrigger, and the warning lights on the back outrigger were not working. So the shop found it needed new wear pads. We have now been down 2 weeks. My shop(Palfinger dealer) keeps telling us that the parts are "on order" as "Truck Down" And no sign of the parts, and no ETA, and since the truck is taken apart they can't put it back together. Horrible service, whomever is responsible should be ashamed of themselves for doing a horrible job. It will push people away from what *used* to be a great brand.

Had a 8.5 crane installed on my 650.(western Canada) Thought I was buying the "best crane out there " so I was told. Has been 2 years and spent more time in the shop for repairs than hours used. Has been in 4 times with all failures durring a lift on jobs. No help from Palfinger and dealer just says bring it back. Last visit was a $4000. board for water getting into "sealed box" Bad design and poor install in my opinion. trading in for a hiab. cant afford the time down and delay costs anymore. Look around before you buy , there is better cranes and service out there.
