I was there last night with a party of 8 and beforehand we had made a reservation so we could secure a spot to watch the sporting event they were showing. We arrived and we were told that it would be $25/person to be seated after we had a made a reservation. This is such a backwards mentality and way of doing this. I understand the restaurant needs to cover their costs but you are essentially punishing patrons for making a reservation. Also, nowhere on open table does it indicate that for standard seating you have to pay $25, it does for the recliners but that’s not what we booked. We were not told this on the phone either when we called to confirm the reservation. It’s the principle of it that makes no sense. If you let people know they have the decision to make as to whether or not they want to go there but don’t put people in that position. We were told we can forego the reservation and stand in line and wait for a table which we ended up doing, the wait was about 30 minutes. Food was good, atmosphere was good and the service was just ok (it was very busy).
View on GoogleAbsolutely terrible experience at the Overtime Lounge this Saturday, March 7th for the UFC fight. I arrived with reservations for a party of 10. Absolutely nowhere on the reservation does it say that there was a cover charge per person for a regular table. Only notes it for RECLINERS in all caps. My party of 10 arrived after driving 1.5 hours (from Vaughan), and paying $60 already for parking at the casino..which is already an absolute robbery. We were told unless we wanted to pay $25 per person we would have to forgo our reservation and find somewhere else to watch, or wait in the line and get in for free. Absolutely never heard of getting charged EXTRA for planning ahead and ensuring a seat. Even after showing the manager that nowhere did it say a cover charge, she still refused to sit a party of 10 and almost lost our business. If not for the lack of people waiting in line they would have definitely lost $700 worth of business, absolutely do not recommend this place solely based on principle. No understanding or loyalty to customers.
View on GoogleI wanted to leave a review after seeing so many poor reviews. We went here to grab a bite to eat and watch the Packers game while we were in Niagara Falls. We sat at the bar and had the loaded nachos and the Mediterranean appetizer plate,( don’t recall the name but it was delicious see pictures). Service was prompt, food came quickly and was delicious, lots of tvs to watch. The only issue I had was that our bartender put myself and another couple in timeout because “allegedly “ we were drinking too fast!? Can’t have more than 2 beers an hour! Now this was going into hour 4 at the end of the game ( we got there 30 minutes before the game) and there were some really loud and obnoxious guests 4 stools down from us cheering on their game while they were clearly outpacing us with their Blue Moons and they didn’t get cutoff!? Clearly this was racial profiling! We are white! Anyway enjoy your time here just pace yourself if you’re white!
View on GoogleMy wife and I decided to stop by for a snack between nfl football and gambling. I have always wanted to try this place in the past. What a great place to watch the game and enjoy delicious food. We shared the nachos with the beef chilli topping. The ingredients were delicious and abundant. Probably best nachos I’ve had in ages, loved them. We had four drinks and watched some football. The service here was excellent, very impressed with the friendly staff. The environment is huge and wide open. I will certainly return in the near future. Keep up the great work!
View on GoogleIf there is any game or other sporting event you want to watch, this is a great place to be. There are huge TVs everywhere with plenty of chairs to just sit, watch and have a drink. If you want food they got that here to. It's kind of hard to explain but it all tastes really good but kind of off at the same time. I ordered a Canadian Burger, and all the toppings worked really well together but the actual patties were dry. The fries were just ok, hot and not crispy. I also ordered grilled side bacon as an appetizer, that was awesome but over priced for just one slice. I tried the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was good but not as moist as it should have been. Service was a bit slow. The place wasn't that busy and it took a while for the waitress to come and take our orders. We finished eating and wanted to order dessert but our waitress had disappeared, so after some time we flagged down a waiter who told us our waitress had left for the evening so he took our order and eventually brought us the bill. Overall a great place to watch any event with a drink. The food is good but over priced.
