Extremely Disappointing Experience with Refund Policy and Owner. My experience with this company was deeply problematic, primarily concerning their failure to honor their satisfaction guarantee and a difficult refund process. The custom orthotics did not provide the support I specifically required and were ineffective. When I initiated the process for a resolution within their stated 60-day policy, the situation became long drawn out. Resolving this issue required over 70 emails, multiple trips to multiple locations, and it spanned a year. Throughout this period, I received conflicting information from in-store staff, the store manager, and the store owner regarding the refund policy. Despite my efforts, which involved consulting a chiropodist for a professional foot doctor opinion, who gave me the advice needed for my situation to reduce my pain and recover. It was completely disregarded by the owner and staff and the company was unwilling to provide a timely resolution. After a year of communication, the owner finally agreed to a partial refund. However, he demanded the return of the orthotics (after previously stating they could be discarded) and then withheld $200 from the refund for a "hygiene fee". Due to the misleading guarantee, the refusal to adhere to their own policy in a reasonable timeframe, and the unprofessional handling of the final refund, I cannot recommend this business.

Went in today with my dad and was greeted by the cutest dog ever! Super friendly and the kindest people ever , such great selection of everything a person could need working on their feet 24/7 . They are extremely educated on everything especially for what your feet need, old fashioned and amazing! Got myself a great pair of winter boots there . I would highly recommend going here if you’re on your feet 24/7 or Haversian feet problem . You won’t regret it !

A perfect blend of expert knowledge in foot & leg biomechanics coupled with computerized analysis for customized orthotics! After a disappointing search for rigid sole orthotics, I concluded the only types made now were softer, foam ones. :( Years ago, I had custom rigid-soled orthotics made by a physiotherapist's office for plantar fascitis. Then... I heard news - orthotics should be changed every 2-3 years. Mine were 9 years old! I was foolish and threw them out! HUGE mistake! I bought the new custom foam ones, lasting about 18 months before they flattened and were unsupportive. I saw this as an unprincipled way for such companies to profit from pain! Now working in steel toes on concrete, I needed rigid soles again. By chance, I walked into The Orthotic Works. My first question was - "Do you have custom, rigid orthotics?" I'd learned if they didn't know what that was and tried to sell me something else, it was time to go! I was completely delighted to learn not only did they have rigid, but it was facilitated by computer analysis of my feet! I ordered and had a lovely, long chat with Tina - a highly knowledgeable, kind and pleasant person. The experience left me feeling positive and it grew when I inserted the new rigid orthotics into my work shoes! I'd only ever recommend rigid orthotics, if you don't want to waste your money every couple of years on foam. Rigid orthotics consistently hold foot bones in shape, preventing pain from issues like falling arches, misaligned bones, heel pains, etc. Orthotic Works also carry a wide range of high quality, lasting footwear if you don't need custom insoles. Tina ensures you'll be served with honest assessment, efficiency, explanatory handouts and most importantly Integrity. I can't recommend Orthotic Works enough! It feels like they saved not just my feet but also knees and back from pain!

I have been getting my orthotics and orthopaedic shoes from Orthotic Works since a was a little kid. Family run business and Tina the owner is always a pleasure to deal with. If you want to support local while also getting a very personal professional experience while meeting your orthopaedic needs this is the place. Highly recommended.

Went in to get my orthotics fitted and new sandals but because I have an ankle replacement I am very difficult to fit. Tina took the time to research all her catalogs and we found the best sandal ever. The straps can be moved around and not touch my ankle at all. Thank you so much Tina for all your time and effort. Most superior service. These are so comfortable and are worth every penny and more. I would highly recommend anyone with foot problems to go see Tina. Best thing I ever did.
