One Vascular Health and Imaging - St. Catharines

I attended for a vascular ultrasound today at the St Catharines VU site. The technician was extremely unfriendly and should really not have job working with people . I have had a lot of health issues in the past 8 years and therefore lots of experience with health care workers … I understand the stress of working in this profession ! Notwithstanding that, I have encountered many properly empathetic professionals working in much more pressured situations than a quiet visit to get an ultrasound . Maybe it was just a bad day for this individual but someone in supervision should speak to her about bedside manner… smiles and conversation like the person I had the last time I attended this clinic for the same test.

I am writing this review anonymously to protect my spouses identity, but I want it to be known the care and consideration we received on Friday, August 15, 2025 at One Vascular Imaging on Welland Avenue in St. Catharines exceeded all expectations and I feel this was mainly in large part due to the kindness and understanding nature of Erica the receptionist we dealt with that day. My spouse was very apprehensive to attend this appointment as they are in the process of transitioning, not only did Erica seem to understand what was taking place without being told she also made a point to not draw any attention to the matter, which in itself goes above and beyond but the fact she took it upon herself to alert the technologist in private who would be performing my spouses test to ensure my spouse would not experience any type of embarrassment truly meant the world to us both. From the moment we walked in the door our experience was nothing but satisfactory, we were greeted with a smile and spoken to with such kindness it allowed my spouse to relax and no longer be nervous about the test that was going to be taking place. The fact this clinic also has a gender neutral bathroom shows it progressiveness and should be applauded. We know this is just one patients review, but I hope you understand just how lucky your clinic is to have someone with the attitude and kindness of Erica. Keep up the great work!

First and foremost I want to express my satisfaction in my experience with this facility. Prompt booking with my schedule being considered and minimal wait time, the one time there was a bit of a wait I was informed before I even arrived which I greatly appreciated. This now leads to my main reason for submitting a review, I would like to give a virtual round of applause to the two young ladies working the front desk, in todays day and age employees do not receive enough recognition for the amazing job they perform. I have come on two separate occasions for ultrasounds and not only are you greeted with a smile and genuine kind attitude but while sitting in the waiting area which is very near the reception area one gets to observe just how efficiently they perform their jobs. I had the privilege of watching them not only communicate with each of their own patients that arrived but also watched as they kindly redirected those who were actually there to be seen by a doctor who is in the same Center and not once did they lose there pleasant disposition even though they may have been busy. Many other medical clinics could take a lesson from these two ladies because this is how you should be treated when going for a medical procedure. I will definitely recommend One Vascular Imaging to anyone who may require vascular imaging.

I can’t express how great the staff at the St Catharines location is, my mother reached out regarding moving an appointment up as she had had some concerns and the girl there, whom we have since found out is named Erica, went above and beyond to ensure my mothers concerns were first and foremost acknowledged and secondly she somehow managed to get my mother in earlier for an appointment.
