Last weekend I ordered an 8 lb prime rib roast. I know it was a last minute order but I am usually not disappointed. I was told that they could have one for me in about an hour. I arrived several hours later. My roast was already wrapped in butcher paper and waiting for me. I was not able to see it at all. As I was not roasting it that day, I placed it in the refrigerator. The next day, when I opened the wrapping to let the meat come to room temperature, I was certainly disappointed. It was too late to call and complain. If I was thinking quickly enough, I would have taken a photo. This lump of meat was tied from all sides. It did not look in any way shape or form like a prime rib roast. I carried on and seasoned the roast as usual. It was roasted by my usual method with the thermometer and cooked to internal temperature of 130 degrees then tented with foil to come up to the perfect temperature of medium rare. After this resting, my husband started to carve the roast after having to remove all of the string. Not very much of it stayed together as it appeared all different pieces had been placed together and tied. The flavour was nothing like the usual quality that I had previously gotten from Country Corner Deli. After having spend $200.00 for this roast, I must say that I was totally disappointed.

A lovely little store with so much to chose from. Everything we have cooked is awesome, especially the chipo steak kabobs 😋 The service, most importantly, is top notch! You feel welcome as soon you walk in.

Friendly service. The best selection of BBQ sausages around. Love their butterfly pork chops. The quality of our last steak was top notch. A hidden gem that deserves not to he hidden. Won't buy any of our meat from the big box rip off supermarkets anymore.

Absolutely fantastic butcher shop! The quality of the meat is outstanding, always fresh, and the sausages are to die for! The staff are incredibly friendly & knowledgeable, You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Prices are fair for the quality, and the service is always top-notch. Easily my go to butcher, I wouldn’t shop anywhere else 🤗
