Old Towne Antiques

After my mother passed away I was able to sell many of her items to Old Towne Antiques. Craig, the owner, was friendly and helpful. He was able to offer very fair prices for her antiques and I appreciated that. I highly recommend visiting Old Towne Antiques when you're in Niagara-on-the-Lake!!

Early Dec, weekday afternoon. A not big store but get one mid portrait size picture frame. It is not an usual Canadian, American, English nor European arts. Store owner, an senior gentleman at retirement age but still own multiple varied business, offers discount on cash payment even though still beyond my budget. He claims that is a contribution of an amazing senior lady philanthropist. This releaves me much of the impulse buy guilty feeling. It is wonderful to learn him and about her. See if there is chance crossing her path down the road.

My first vist in this location was on Sunday April 10 and it was a wonderful experence. I met the owner Craig Townson and his son. They were both very friendly and a breath of fresh air. Craig's shop is very nice and organized with a good assortment of items for everyone's taste. I was refered to this store by another Antique shop close by and was told to drop in sometime. Absolutely LOVE this antique store. The owner is so super friendly with a BIG heart he was very informative and helpful. Lots of treasures to be found. It for sure is our new favourite place!!!
