A dear friend of mine called the office after not hearing anything from them after a referral there. All she wanted to know was an estimated wait time, thats it. Instead she got lectured about how many patient calls the receptionist has to make in a day. The Receptionist ended up making her cry at a very sensitive time when she is already scared about the appointment to start with. Empathy is a key part of any patient facing job, this person was so focused on her own self, she tore my friend apart. Some people need different careers.
View on GoogleMy appointment was deeply unsettling. The interaction felt rushed, tense, and dismissive, and I did not feel heard or respected when expressing concerns. Communication was poor, explanations were inadequate, and there was a noticeable lack of professionalism and reassurance throughout the visit. I left feeling anxious and uncomfortable rather than cared for. This experience significantly undermined my trust, and I would strongly urge others to be cautious and ensure they feel confident and supported in their care. I was also uncomfortable with Dr.Nowicki’s appearance, including bloodshot eyes and long, scraggly, unbrushed hair, which added to my lack of confidence in the professionalism of the encounter. I reported him to CPSO. He is very elderly and should not be practicing anymore for the safety of women because he is clearly over the whole thing. (Ie. dealing with women/desensitized!) PS UPDATE YOUR OFFICE APPEARANCE. That alone shows his lack of care.
View on GoogleThis doctor and office has got to be my worst medical experience! The receptionist needs a new job scrubbing toilets and nowicki needs to retire. He has zero compassion, bedside manners and patience for people. He speaks in a way that makes him feel as if he is the only one who has degrees or is educated. I STRONGLY advise women especially, not to attend this doctor, not sexist however women usually go there for sensitive matters and or pregnancy and will leave there feeling worse! He has way too mnay complains and horrible reviews and should be stripped of his liscenses. I do feel very sorry for anyone who has to visit this dungeon. My complaint will be going to social media and the CPSO!
View on GoogleI just left this monsters office. It was evident in his behaviour and body language alone that he has been reported to the college many many times. Too many times. He needs to be fired, or he needs to immediately fired. I have had stage 4 endometriosis since puberty. I was treated as though I had zero experience of my disease, he attempted to humiliate me, his level of rudeness was impressive. Told me my disease was too complicated, stop wasting doctors time by seeking further answers or options as I have no options. Give up he said. Please, do not see this man. He lacks any type of empathy, keep that in mind if you do have to see him.
View on GoogleDr Nowicki was recommended by a friend after I had trouble finding an Ob. After reading the reviews online, I was hesitant but I ended up being very very happy with the care that he and his office provided. He has strong expertise and experience. That's what is most important. He gave me the care I needed. Some people seem to think he lacks bedside manner but I found him kind and professional. He's just old school, you may say (in manner; he's up to date with his medical knowledge). He tells you what you need to know and is prompt and skilled. The desk staff being rigid in keeping the office run efficiently seems to be what throws people off, but I was very happy that appointments were on time and easy to get and I could count on them to do what they needed. They were always on top of things. I can't say this for all medical offices. I am very thankful for Dr Nowicki and all of his staff.
