Yellow smoke from a natural gas power plant is unusual and could indicate a potential issue. Natural gas is a relatively clean-burning fuel and typically produces clear or white exhaust, primarily water vapor and carbon dioxide, when combusted properly. Yellow smoke might be a sign of incomplete combustion or impurities in the fuel, leading to the release of pollutants such as: 1. Nitrogen Oxides (NOx): These can appear yellowish and are common byproducts of combustion at high temperatures. 2. Sulfur Compounds: If the natural gas contains sulfur impurities, it could create yellowish emissions. 3. Particulates or Chemical Byproducts: An equipment malfunction, such as in the scrubbers or other pollution control devices, could cause unusual emissions. What to Do 1. Observe: Note how long the yellow smoke has been present, the weather conditions (e.g., wind direction), and if you smell unusual odors. 2. Report It: Contact your local environmental protection agency or air quality control board to report your observation. Provide specific details about the location, color of the smoke, and duration. 3. Safety Precautions: Avoid prolonged exposure to the area if you notice a strong odor or experience irritation. This is where I live. Yellow smoke emissions from a natural gas power plant can indicate the release of pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), which may pose health risks to nearby residents. Health Implications: Exposure to elevated levels of NO₂ can lead to respiratory issues, including irritation of the airways, coughing, and difficulty breathing. Individuals with pre-existing respiratory conditions, such as asthma, may experience aggravated symptoms. Prolonged exposure can also decrease lung function and increase the risk of respiratory infections.

Runs trains in the middle of the night. Cares more about company then surrounding community. The reason behind residents wanting to leave. These trips can be done during day time. Not to mention the green area and trees that were taken for this track. Not very green.

northland power in my opinion will gradually increase their business volume and that means an increase in their shares over the next year or two .i would recommend a buy for this company.
