Northland Pointe

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This place is full of bullies including management. They fail to train you and the reprimand you, they act like they’re diverse, equitable and inclusive but only to certain people. Staff are bullies and management supports the bullies. Staff use foul language around residents and nothing is done about it. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning bullying and foul language so clearly it is an ongoing issue that is being ignored. This place should be shut down or management should be let go for their failures and all the other staff should be trained or let go. This place is a disgrace and I would think twice about putting family in this home after everything I witnessed. If this is how bad I have witnessed it as a visitor, I can only imagine how bad it is when visitors aren’t around. Horrid place and even worse management. Disgusting

My mom was placed at Northland pointe while we were waiting for placement closer to her family. The nursing staff, psw s, Ot were so kind and caring. The recreation girls Sydney and Victoria were very lovely helping my mom stay active and engaged in activities. And keeping her company. I can't say enough how wonderful this home was and how i saw so much compassion and caring how they all treated the residents. I honestly can't say one bad thing about the home. Thank you all for taking the time and the care you gave my mom while she was there.

Sorry to hear of negative reviews about workplace. I have nothing but extreme gratitude for all who cared for my mother. They also helped me through a difficult time as I lost my mother. All staff were so kind and caring towards her, even when it wasn't easy. Thank you to all staff and Dr. Wilson who cared for her for years, your kindness will never be forgotten. Michelle Porter

I’m sure this review will be taken down as the administrator of this home is unprofessional and basically uncaring. Hands on staff are overworked and treated poorly. Administrator makes false claims but is protected by her non-present director at the region. Complaints made to MLTC go through, she lies to cover herself and life goes on. If you are considering this home, do your due diligence and record absolutely everything.

I appreciate all the care that is given to my mother. It is not an easy job taking care of the elderly and the staff need to be praised and encouraged. The Rec therapists have been great on getting my mom more involved socially. The home always looks impeccably clean. Thank you!
