Norm's Vacuum Cleaner Sales & Service

Charged $30 to examine the vacuum. Left our name and contact information. Called them multiple times to check the status on the vacuum. No one answered the phone each time. Did not receive any call for approximately 3 weeks. Went to the store to pick up the vacuum and get a refund for the $30. I was told that the vacuum cleaner was already fixed and costed $98 for the repair. How can they fix a vacuum without letting us know the cost of the repair? This was incredibly unprofessional as it may not have been a financially feasible option to fix the vacuum cleaner. We expressed our dissatisfaction with this and he reduced the price of the repair to $50. Seems like the initial $98 quoted was an incredibly inflated price. We further expressed our anger regarding why the vacuum was repaired without letting us know what was wrong with it, and how much the repairs will be, without any solution. Tried to pay for the repair on Mastercard and was told they do not accept it (even though I have a receipt for the examination fee which was clearly paid on Mastercard). Took the vacuum cleaner home and the repair was done and the vacuum cleaner works fine. Just wish that the place was more professional in how they handle orders. Won't be using them again.
