Got some items hemmed here. I asked for a quote. When I left we had a agreement on what I would be paying when picking up. When I came back for pick up the pice was just over double! Was not expecting that. Be sure to get the exact quote. I gave two stars cause the hem seems to look ok just not the best experience. Also not important but both times going in I said good morning and just complete silence.

I emailed a quote request to hem a pair of sweatpants. They replied $8 + tax. I went there today to drop off the pants. The lady said I was mistaken and sweatpants cost $10. The $8 price was for regular pants. I took out my phone and showed the email clearly saying sweatpants. But no, unless I paid $10 they wouldn't do it. I told her no, I would take it to another place that quoted $9. I never lost my temper or raised my voice, was never rude to you in any way. Why ridicule me on the way out? For $2!?!? Why, for $2, did you not honor the quote? You must have known this was coming.

I had a very expensive mens traditional kilt altered and repaired here. I was very nervous about taking it in as it cost me a small fortune when I had it made. It was repaired perfectly and the alteration was done very well. Very happy customer. Thanks Nick's Neil

Fast service, cheaper than everyone else for alterations and friendly service too. Doesn’t even slightly compare to the Fonthill business bearing the same name. Definitely worth the extra drive down into the old part of Welland.

Honestly I’ve never been to a place with such competence and friendly staff. I wish I could give them more stars with how great they were. I brought it two particular pieces that were quite difficult hem (because of the curved bottom) and still gladly took the challenge and did a perfect job. I fell in love with my outfits all over again now that they fit properly!!
