Niagara Vision

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish when I came in for my eye exam and to pick out new glasses. Dr. Fossey was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to clearly explain every test and answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed, and I really appreciated how thorough she was. The staff were just as wonderful. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to really listen and helped me find frames that I absolutely love. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and would highly recommend this office to anyone.

Staff was rude, and very deceiving about coverage. Tried to say only a small portion is only ever covered and nobody else would have glasses for cheaper. They wanted us to pay $200 or more out of pocket for the cheapest glasses they had, i went to another glasses store and it was fully covered, shocker. It was very manipulative and rude the way the lady tried to explain things to us, as if she knew everything and we knew nothing, even when she was wrong. Just a overall bad experience sadly, i wouldn't recommend going here.

I have been bringing my Daughter here since she was about a year old because we noticed she had a lazy left eye, the doctor advised that treatment cannot take place till she’s three so we have been coming to Niagara vision every year since 2023, hoping that when she gets to three we will get a referral or treatment. He eventually gave us a referral to Hamilton Children’s hospital ophthalmology, as she is 3+ now, imagine my annoyance to hear from the ophthalmologist that she should have been here earlier because the best time to treat such conditions is the first two years and we are almost late. She is currently barely has any vision from that eye. If you go there and you need a referral ask for it immediately don’t wait.

Recently came here for an eye exam as I was having issues with my vision. First off the woman who helped me at the front and conducted the first portion of my exam was kind, friendly, listened to my ramblings and did an excellent job overall, I then met Dr. Hoosinney (apologies if I misspelled) honestly I was extremely impressed with his thorough exam and reassurances, his taking the time to explain things as well as his approach in general. I would not hesitate to send my friends or family here and rest assured they are in great hands. And I will be back for my exams from here on out.

Right from the admin desk to the preliminary eye examination, the doctor consultation and picking out the frames, the whole process was absolutely delightful. I was treated very politely all the way through. The wait was minimal, the professionalism was unsurpassed, and the experience was enjoyable, not tedious. The facility is clean, bright, and welcoming. Amber hit the target on frames first try. She was friendly and an absolute blast to interact with. Dr. Hooseinny was professional, helpful, and very descriptive as to what was going on and what was required. He also listened to me with regards to my circumstances and took those circumstances into account. 6 stars out of 5
