Witnessed Niagara United u10 coach berate a maybe 16-year-old female referee in Welland into tears (Feb 7, 2026). While this wasn't the game I was spectating, the situation was hard to avoid. Regardless of the cause, the coaching staff in this instance displayed zero respect for the sport. The coach left after the game, and she made no attempt to apologize to the young referee afterwards. This particular event has changed my opinion of the programming being offered from this club.

There’s definitely room for improvement in how the teams are formed. Right now, the team strengths are quite uneven—some teams are very strong while others struggle significantly. This imbalance can make the experience frustrating for the weaker teams and less engaging for the stronger ones. A simple skill-level survey during registration could help create more balanced and homogeneous teams, which would likely make the event more enjoyable and fair for everyone.

Hey parents, If you or you know someone in the club management, And wanna let your kids gets achievements and learn with the help of dirty politics then you should put them in this club. Otherwise it’s the worst dirty political club in Niagara as of today my daughters team (undefeated all season) got disqualified as the other teams (who were unable to win over us in the real ground whole season) had links in the club. A very disappointing and feeling for all the girls who are heart broken today as they all worked so hard & pushed themselves too hard to be undefeated all season, because of clubs biased decision and dirty politics. I am done with this club and warn parents who wanna raise their kids with good teachings and Morals instead of getting involved in politics in Games. So please check other reviews before you make decision. Thanks for reading. And for the club I request you to please stop play with innocent kid’s feelings as it would come back to you as well for sure one day. Some body is watching you and recording. I am a parent of a little girl who has been attending united soccer club for a few years. The first year when there was a lot of politics involved I just let it slide as I thought oh that will happen everywhere a little. The next year same stuff politics parents etc etc. I let it slide AGAIN !!! Now this year I won't let it slide again and I am not the only parent who feels this way. The politics were so very noticeable this year that I have decided to NEVER allow my daughter to attend United Soccer Club ever again. This year we were undefeated all season then got to the tournament and won going on to the finals. WELL we got disqualified due to a technicality. We had a call up player who played yesterday and today (2 games). There was another team as well who had a call up player who played in the playoffs. We got disqualified because our call up player was not allowed to play in the playoffs. The other team in the finals got to play in the finals with their call up player. The question is what was so different between our team who WAS disqualified for having a call up player in the finals, but the other team in the finals was allowed to play in the finals??!! Different strokes for different folks !! I guess when you have parents or other family members on the inside on the soccer club board different rules apply. The only people that were really affected were the little girls who played their hearts out all season and were undefeated to play hard in the tournament to get into the finals and then have the carpet just ripped right from underneath them crying their little eyes out and heartbroken. THANK YOU UNITED for making this a wonderful end to the season for all our girls by making them cry as they left United Soccer Club for the last time EVER. I just want other parents to know what could happen to you as well so that you can make a decision to play at another club if you wanted to is all. I am not bitter I am just sad for all the girls. The teams that went on to the finals good for them as I have nothing against them whatsoever, and as a matter of fact at the tournament I congratulated the coach on their win after one of their games in the playoffs. They actually deserved to be in the playoffs as I have seen them get better and better each game this season so good for all the girls !!! Thank you for taking a moment to read my review. ⚽️🥅

My son wanted to play in this league as that's where a few of his friends were playing. Last year we weren't notified what team he was on, who the coach was, when his games were, etc. I had to go to the club to get anywhere. I chalked that up to a mistake. This year, the exact same thing has happened. I registered him online, paid the league fees and was ignored by the club. After trying to get a response for 2 weeks, I finally reached someone at the club who told me my son has already missed the first game. I was then told that the coach would contact me. It is now 48 hours before the second game and I still don't know anything. Instead of answering my questions and telling me where and when his games and practices will be, the club just passed the blame to an unpaid volunteer coach. They said that I'd hear from the coach, but I haven't. I asked for a call from the club, but they didn't call. Instead they sent an email saying the "coach tried contacting me". That did not happen. I guess the club didn't realize in a digital age, we have records of who calls or emails. I received no email and no call. And as I said instead of just providing me with the information I needed, the club figured it was more important to blame an unpaid volunteer for their incompetence. Unless your child wants to play here because of friends, play anywhere else. This place is pathetic. I'll update this review when I hear anything else.
