Fantastic atmosphere. One of the most inclusive training rooms I've ever been privileged to be in. You have everyone from all walks of life being welcomed and assisted by not only the coaches but the other long standing members as well. I can not say enough awesome things about Niagara Top Team and the coaching staff. A++

Niagara top team is nothing but the best. Top tier coaches who respect all whether it be kid, parent or other establishment. I have watched the little ninjas class grow immensely over our time here (most the time they have had it) and their care and respect never waiver. If there is a kid not listening and throwing to hard on their partners body they take care of it instantly with care and urgency. Dont let the negative disgusting review of racism take you away from the top tier coaching here because they have nothing but respect for ALL. ADULTS NEED TO LEARN TO ADULT THEMSELVES!! Proud parent thats been attending for multiple years

Horrible Racist experience with this business and organization. Signed my 8 year old child up for boxing, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling he’s been there for 4 months training 6 days a week without incident. My child has never harmed or hurt another child; my child has actually suffered injuries on numerous occasions. I have encouraged him to get back up and not to quit. The coaches do nothing when my child is hurt. To my surprise the coaches and staff at Niagara Top Team send me a random email stating that they are removing my 8 year old non-aggressive child from their program entirely. There was no previous warnings or a meeting with the child’s parents prior to the coaches making this irrational decision. My child in the last month has been kneed and elbowed in his lip, scratched in the side of his face, kicked, and punch and they never acknowledged any of these behaviours from other children whom are older than my child. I’ve spent over $2000.00 dollars with Niagara Top Team in 4 months between the monthly membership fee, jiu-jitsu, boxing, and wrestling gear for an 8 year old. Niagara Top Team decided to abruptly terminate an 8 year olds membership due to blatant racism and bias. They sent an email stating the reason for the termination was because my child fools around and talks to his peers during drills when all of the children between the ages of 8-11 years old are not focused on the task at all not just my child. If you are looking for guidance, assertiveness, leadership, and mentorship for your young child or children do not waste your money or resources at the Niagara Top Team. Instead of redirecting young children from racialized backgrounds they place them under a microscope criminalizing them and scrutinizing them for "fooling around" and being healthy athletic young talent. If you are apart of the BIPOC community do not support this business. Do not enroll your young impressionable children here because the racism, bias, and micro aggressions are exceedingly prevalent and they only want to work with Caucasian youth and their parents. I believe it is extremely irresponsible and racist to believe that the safety concerns for all the children in the program are solely dependent on the behaviour of one 8 year old child. Nonetheless, Niagara Top Team made their decision regarding my child without consulting or warning the parents whether verbally or written in an attempt to ostracize my black child. it’s very alarming and concerning the narrative that this business is trying to paint in regards to an 8 year old child seeking guidance, leadership, and support. Instead now his confidence has been destroyed and his mental health will suffer as a consequence to the actions of grown adults isolating him from his peers. It’s nice to know how Niagara Top team holds the parents of young black children in such high regard. Coaches are supposed to be there to redirect the child but when bias and racism supersedes these basic instincts. They much rather scrutinize and criminalize my young black child instead of mentoring him. I implore the Niagara Top team staff and coaches to ascertain some serious diversity, equity, and inclusion training as it relates to working with racialized families. Instead of discarding black children you should work with parents to support their child’s needs.
