The volunteers care so much about the cats that are there. They're honestly such good people to volunteer their time to find homes for their sweet furry angels.

Great place to find your feline family member! I am allergic to most cats, so it was crucial to be able to meet with cats in person before applying to adopt. Most rescues don't allow this, but the SPCA does. Thanks to the Cat Adoption Center, we were able to find our sweet Albert to join our family! He came to us fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines! Thank you Niagara SPCA!

Not very happy… we fell in love with one of the dogs up for adoption. Filled out an application 3 weeks ago:… since we have always had animals, they kept telling us they would need to check with the vets we’ve used in the past in order to qualify to adopt. They called us and said “we’re closing your application because your vet didn’t give a good reference as your animals hardly went there.” Excuse me? Didn’t know taking your dog to the vets all the time makes you a good pet owner? … all of our animals have been loved and cared for… eaten only the best, walked daily.. and have had their shots and been fixed. Very disappointed that a vet reference disqualifies wonder pet owners a chance for a dog to be brought into a wonderful family. Smh.

Just picked up our new family member, Tubs. They were able to discuss everything with us and make sure we were ready to bring him home. All very friendly volunteers at the center.
