Staff and facilities are wonderful but communication is challenging. Your initial communication to tell you about appointment is email only. I missed the email and received a text shortly before the appointment as a reminder. I ended up having to reschedule the initial appointment. I would give a 5 star review if it wasn't for the communication difficulties

Waited 18 months to get appointment because I hadn't been there in 6 years. They then cancel my appointment twice, and then I finally see this so called doctor, who was replacing the original Doctor. He then does nothing but recommends a "program" to help sleep. Then, he canceled the follow-up appointment not once, but twice..... again! Tell me, is this adequate service?

Appointment set up was confusing. Had to call after the zoom call initial appointment because I was never emailed or given an appointment. Calls are picked up maybe half the time. Parking was a bit confusing as well as there's no clear signage of where to park. Approximate wake up time should be made clear, cups of water should be made clearly available (approx 530am wake up). Entrance isn't made clear. Upon exit there is a $4 fee. Now the good. Staff were pleasant and beds were comfortable. Application of probes(?) went easy. Wish they had a better location to apply them, it was kind of right outside of some rooms in the open. Staff walked you to the exit and it was a quick walk. Elevator is available for people needing the accessibility.

I just had my first sleep study done, at the Niagara Falls clinic. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep away from home. My technician, Jim, was amazing. Very knowledgable and a great sense of humour. Made me feel at home. I slept well and was surprised when I was awakened and that the study was done. Highly recommended!

My evening began @ 9 pm. I was directed to a room & told to fill out a form. I was never spoken to again till 10 pm & the technician popped her head in for seconds & said she would be another 30 minutes & @ 10:30 pm she popped her head back in & told me another 10 minutes. I was also told not to turn lights off. By this point I had lost all sleepiness because it was way past my nightly routine. I was very agitated & that is not a good thing if you want to fall asleep. I had hoped to have a conversation about the procedure with the technician. It never happened. The wires were hooked up on my head & chest & proved to be another form of agitation. It was now after 11 pm. I was told the other 2 patients were special needs. Did I feel valued & respected as a customer of Sleep Clinic? No. They need to rethink this program. I left @ 3 am because I couldn’t sleep. The most stressful environment & when I spoke to receptionist she said I could sign up again. Never in your life I replied. Sleep is meant to be in a stress free environment. This was very disappointing!
