Niagara School of Music

They are an alright school. But dont miss too much for being sick. They dont allow it and than send rules in an email with nothing else. Maybe they should consult a dr and speak to a principal to hear how bad this winter has been. Let alone i have a bad immune system and my child has gotten sick often. For a half hour its very expensive. Save your money and go elsewhere who actually care about their students. ✌️

We thoroughly enjoyed the Music Wonderland course with our 4 year old daughter at Niagara School of Music. The songs are catchy and the course books are so beautifully designed. The weekly lessons were perfectly suited to her age and attention span: 45 well-paced minutes, filled with short engaging songs and activities. Ms. Teresa, the school's director, is a lovely blend of professional and friendly and holds the children's attention without ever raising her voice. Looking forward to the Junior Music program next year!

A great local music school, that puts students first. They are fantastic with all skill levels of students (understanding theory and playing levels). The Yamaha piano lessons are through yet fun, to keep kids interested. The teachers are all kind and warm. Ms. Melissa is great, always has time and patience for the kids. Keeps the parents in the loop. They offer an array of lessons like vocal and guitar, etc. The new facility at Welland is super nice, and will be beneficial to both staff and students.

When I purchased my new Clavinova CVP-809GP last year, I realized I needed to refresh my skills. At 60 years of age, I had no idea where to go but Yamaha Music pointed me toward the Niagara School of Music as my local provider of the Yamaha Music Education System. Teresa Sanecki runs the school in 2 locations, one in the Falls and one in Welland. The teacher I got was a very talented young lady, Melissa Tavano. She is exceptionally patient and customized our private lessons to suit my music tastes, skill level and schedule. During COVID-19 when the school was closed, she arranged Zoom sessions and was always available whenever I needed a tune up! Granted, my weekly in-class lesson followed a group of 6 year-olds and at first, I admit feeling a bit awkward, but Melissa always found a way to make me feel comfortable. Believe me, I'm not the model student! Work and other things can sometimes (many times) get in the way of adult learning, but she stuck with me and I have definitely improved! I am proud to say that I'd highly recommend them, no matter what level of skill you have! Top Shelf People Here!!! Nick Sebastian

Niagara school of music has been a great experience since we started last September. Everyone is very friendly and my son loves his music program. Teresa our music teacher is phenomenal. Very patient,friendly, organized, and never missed a class. She always kept us up to date especially when the pandemic started last March. She took her classes online for the kids. Although we missed the social aspect because of the pandemic, it was great to see how passionate the staff are about teaching music to their students despite circumstances and how they made all the changes so that we can practice music safely as a group. Looking forward to seeing everyone in the fall!
