Niagara Road 12 Waste Management Facility

Recently moved to Grimsby as a new home owner. A lot of household and general waste that I had to haul away. Got to this facility and was welcomed by friendly staff, clearly directed at the gate on what to do and what goes where, and the staff in the dump yard also friendly and helpfull. I was charged a fee for the load and was surprised that it wasnt more 😁, as it was quite a heavy load. Anyway, keep up the good work guys!

My first time visiting a landfill. I have to say it's not at all what I imagined when I thought about a landfill. The place is very organized and all three employees I met were very welcoming, and made me feel a lot less nervous. I was so impressed, that I wanted to leave a review. Great job!

They want you to drive into a pile of nails and debris in order to dump a trailer of shingles. Then they want you to sort the garbage into a bin else a man will come and harass you. Worst dump in the whole region. They act like they are doing you a favor to dump their. What a joke of an operation. Highly recommended the average homeowner simply leaves the garbage on the road as they will pick most things up and you won’t have to pay or sort it. Meanwhile if you drive households in to help you have to pay but also sort and do the dump job. I have included pictures of their environmentally friendly operation. The shingles are all sitting in the ditch with water and the debris which I am continually harassed about is inside every other pile.

This dump is the most organized dump I've been too. Very recycle friendly. It takes a bit to sort them in proper bins but great for our environment. Free recycle, steel, yard waiste, trees. Only 10 a load for dirt. 10 a tone for clean concrete. And 90 a tone for garbage, which by far beats everyone around here in prices. Now I just noticed they got a reuse it center you can drop off your useful stuff rather then pay to throw it out
