Didn't find this agency helpful. This was Niagara Regional Housing. Found it misleading. The person there talked so fast you couldn't ask questions. Everything was preplanned including a letter stating that rent was retroactive to signing which left me nothing in order to hire movers. I didn't know that I wouldn't be given a move date. I was to be charged rent right away. Admonishing letter stating that if I didn't get a rent receipt from the landlord for February then it was a no go. They had my bank statements and could see that the rent had been deducted. Not helpful for people who need housing. I needed a different accomodation because I am most likely looking at surgery and I thought an elevator would be a good idea. It was in a building with an elevator. It doesn't serve who it is meant to serve. I waited for years and got a letter the first week of February. I signed a lease in the office without even seeing the apartment. People should at least get that courtesy. It was a complete snow job. To the response below--Not interested in a copy of your complaints manual. More interested in informing others that this social agency is ineffective for the people who need it. People should know.

I applied for tnc license long time ago still no one responds

I don’t know why WE have to pay for new bins when YOUR collectors destroy them and also WE have to travel to get the new bins. Also, you state you don’t take grass but you’ll take it in leaf bags without checking. Where are we supposed to put our grass?
