Niagara Region Sexual Health Centre - St. Catharines

Went to the sexual health clinic to talk about having an abortion.I'm thirty five years old and I don't want any kids.But what really, really, really, you know, boiled, my blood was the nurse assuming that my boyfriend sleeps around or the fact that I do. I don't know but before I met my boyfriend.Not that it's anybody's business.But I was with somebody for thirteen years, and I was married to that same person 47 years.And then I just recently got divorced about a year ago.So I found somebody new sue me.The only reason why i'm getting rid of this baby is because i'm a carrier or fragile x, which is a rare form of autism.It's a genetic disorder which causes the blood flow to not flow properly to the brain.The child could possibly be in a wheelchair or not be able to walk or nonverbal, and that's really sad, but no, my boyfriend does not sleep around.And neither do I and the fact that somebody would make those assumptions makes me so angry again.I'm not saying the nurse wasn't nice, and i'm not saying she wasn't kind, but to make accusations like that really makes me mad.And I don't think I will be going to the sexual health clinic anymore.

Everyone should get tested regularly, and this is the place to do it. These guys are sometimes able to see you the day of, which is really helpful when you're anxious and on a time crunch. Be nice to the staff please.

Stacey was incredible insensitive and emotionless when assisting. As if this process isn't hard enough she made me uncomfortable and completly objective to ever wanting to step foot in this location. Working with and amongst women I would expect more for the elderly. I am disappointed in this service and will never recommend this clinic.

The nurse and doctor (Janice) here are amazing. They were so helpful and non judgemental. Honestly my experience was awesome considering the circumstances

Great nurses!!! They treat you so well!!! ...And the reception guy is preaty cool too!
