You’re limited to 10 sessions if you’re going for counselling, there shouldn’t be a time limit on your path to bettering yourself. I had to beg for a final session for closure, when I got it I felt horrible and like I didn't deserve it, and they didn’t refer me to another counselling service. I couldn't go through with dbt and felt punished for that. I was told to go do dbt with my 2 counsellers that I've been seeing and after the first dbt session one of them leaves and all the other clients were girls which hightened my social anxiety and they knew that. The thing that made me withdraw was on brake everyone was watching a trailer for the sex lives of college girls on the TV including the counsellers. I don't feel I was at fault for withdrawing. They’re all amazing people and will provide help to clients who only need 10 sessions which is great. The only option to a more stable journey is to pay 150$ per session at a non government funded establishment which isn’t so great.

Dr. Legault and the entire staff are absolutely amazing and have been helping me substantially along my mental health journey. Highly recommend and don’t be afraid to seek help!

This is by far the best service I've had in this community yet. I have a private worker named Kim and I would recommend her to anyone who needs one on one or who just needs support from someone who's trustworthy, can refer certain resources and who would be your "right hand man" in anything at all your going threw in life. Kim Pilot is beyond the most amazing person I've ever come across on a personal level and you would never imagine someone like her would be working with the regional mental health. She knows her field and is awesome on every level possible at the job she does. If anyone is reaching out to this service I highly recommend you ask for Kim Pilot. She's help me become an entirely new person and the mother I've always wished to be.
