If you are looking for a place where you will be treated with kindness, expertise, and genuine care, I 100% recommend Dr. Gervais and his wonderful staff at Niagara Peninsula Oral Surgery in St. Catharines! This was hands down the best dental experience I have ever had! From the moment I booked my surgery, every single staff member was incredibly kind, caring, and considerate leading up to my surgery date, making me feel completely at ease on the day of my operation. Dr. Gervais did an absolutely impeccable job with my wisdom teeth removal surgery. The sedation process was smooth and professional, I fell asleep quickly and woke up feeling very comfortable. The whole team made sure I understood everything beforehand, calmly explained the steps, and really took the time to ease my nerves (especially since I'm not great with needles!). They were also very gentle and kind with me when I woke up from the surgery, ensuring I was comfortable and at peace. Their compassion and attention to detail meant the world to me. I had minimal bleeding after the surgery, it stopped within about 30 minutes, and only a little soreness and swelling which went away after the first two days. Now, just three days later, I feel almost completely back to normal and my recovery has been incredibly fast. The stitches we're done perfectly. I couldn't believe how smooth everything went! While waiting for my surgery, another patient in the waiting room shared how amazing Dr. Gervais is and he couldn't have been more right. Dr. Gervais clearly knows exactly what he is doing, and it shows in his skill, professionalism, and the overall care he and his team provide. I am so thankful to have such an outstanding oral surgeon here in St. Catharines, and I had to leave this review because my experience was truly exceptional. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Gervais and the entire team at Niagara Peninsula Oral Surgery. They turned something I was very nervous about into an experience I am truly thankful for. You will be in the absolute best hands! I definitely recommend booking with them if you need any oral care! Even if you live in a surrounding city, I would suggest to make the trip because of the excellent service they provide here! 10/10

Very impressed with the professionalism of the entire staff. I had an impacted wisdom that I had ignored for many years. Dr. Gervais was excellent. The entire process was efficient and painless! Appropriate instructions for aftercare. It has been 3 weeks now and it has healed with no issues. So happy I finally had this looked after. Thanks so much to Dr. Gervais and staff!

Dr. Carriero was excellent. Went for 4 wisdom teeth. He numbed the area very well and checked multiple times that I did not feel anything. Got done so quickly that I thought he missed the top set of teeth. Only reason I would possibly give less stars is how pricey it was, but I guess you pay for quality.

The surgeon was very professional, and informative - I could not have asked for better assistance. If it had not been for the professionalism that he had exhibited along with the receptionist I would have given this place a star rating of one. When arriving today to talk about payment with the receptionist, her colleague Kristen decided to intervene into the conversation. I attempted to communicate with the receptionist up front regarding my payment plan, she had been professional with me and throughout this whole situation - her colleague Kristen approaches and gets infront of the receptionist. When I attempt to communicate what I was informed of regarding payment plans (being that as long as payment was done I could choose the payments being sent) Kristen interrupted me and said no, and that if I could not afford to get surgery I should not have gotten it in the first place, then going on to compare purchasing a car off the lot to getting my Wisdom Teeth surgery done. This woman Kristen lacked compassion and was very heartless in the exchange, needless to say after the conversation got tense and she continuously kept talking over me I told her I did not want to talk to her anymore and I wanted to continue the conversation with the receptionist; this woman does NOT belong working with the public especially when it comes to customer service. I tried to explain that I had financial difficulties and was looking for a second job in the meantime so I could increase payments as I was struggling and she just simply talked over me and dismissed my attempt at communicating - further stating that I had not paid them anything since the surgery but when I had attempted to contact them through email about this, I was told to call and then told to go in person rather than just communicate to me the expectations of the payment via email or phone this person decided to berate me in public. I typically do not write reviews however this exchange left me feeling disgusted and disrespected. If anyone from management sees this comment please check the security camera to see the exchange yourself.

Incredibly wonderful, professional physicians and staff at this clinic. I had two extractions: one on the top, one on the bottom. The teeth were pretty deeply rooted and I was in a lot of pain. I missed my first surgery appointment because of that snow storm in December, and then I kept forgetting to go in and sign the hospital forms. Staff at the clinic kept calling me to remind me that this was important, that I needed to come in and sign my forms. Even though I kept forgetting, they were kind to me. It really meant a lot to me. Through my own fault I finally got the extractions done in May, this week actually. I had an excellent experience at the St Catharines hospital. Most of the staff there were really kind and wonderful. There was one super rude nurse, but isn’t there always? The anaesthesiologist was amazing and put me out quickly. One of the nurses was really kind and funny and kept me distracted. I woke up with some pain and my meds were immediately adjusted to compensate. They got me back to my family really quickly and they were very professional. Now let me tell you what you really want to know about: the healing. I needed ice packs for one day! Only one day! The freezing lasted about 24 hours and I didn’t need heavy pain medication. By the 2nd day I was on regular strength Motrin and Tylenol. My jaw feels a bit stiff and sore, with heavier pain meds I’d be feeling nothing, but I prefer to know what’s happening with my body so I’m able to go off the pain meds asap and monitor any other symptoms. There’s no swelling and the holes are well scabbed over. One has already lost the scab and is healing quite well. There’s no redness and next to no pain, just that stiff feeling and only on the one side. I’m 3 days post op and already able to brush my teeth and work with modified duties. The most important thing to know if you’re reading this is that I was in a lot of pain for years and years before I was finally referred to Dr. Gervais. As soon as I had my surgery, I was healing. Before this surgery, I didn’t know when the pain would end. I didn’t know if it would ever end. Now I know I’m getting better every day. The first morning I woke up and the tooth that had been making me miserable for 7 YEARS was finally gone? And I couldn’t feel it anymore? It felt like a miracle. If you have any kind of dental anxiety or forgetfulness, GO see this doctor! You won’t forget it!
