Yeah I wish I could put 0 Stars! I don't think I've ever seen a Niagara Peninsula energy truck in Beamsville! Never mind trimming the overhanging trees that are everywhere near the power lines in this entire town. By all means don't maintain the area. Just keep your hands in everybody's pockets doing the money grab. Thanks, Niagara Peninsula energy You're an energy sucker, All right! Do the maintenance?

If I could only put 0 star reviews here, I'd do it in a heart beat. These guys sucks in customer service. I'm not surprised they have bad reviews because it's so true. bought a house and 1 week later we still don't have connection even though ESA approved it already. Worst hydro company ever.

If you’re considering NPEI as your energy provider, think twice. The power goes out constantly—sometimes for hours, sometimes for entire days—and there never seems to be any improvement. It's clear they’ve neglected to invest in modernizing or maintaining their infrastructure, and the results are painfully obvious. Every time there’s a bit of wind or rain, it’s like flipping a coin to see if we’ll still have electricity. Meanwhile, customers are left in the dark (literally and figuratively), with vague updates and no real accountability. It’s frustrating to pay rising rates to a company that refuses to put real money back into the system to make it reliable. Other providers have made major upgrades, but NPEI feels stuck in the past—more interested in collecting bills than delivering consistent service. If they actually cared about their customers, we’d see some real infrastructure improvements instead of empty promises.

Awful. Constant power outages. Horrible phone line service that is not 24/7 at all even though they claim to be. If an outage occurs outside of their lackluster 8:30-430pm business hours, you're in the dark and have no answers for it. They're best at applying bandaid fixes and will never allow their greedy hands to dip into their massive pile of money to actually fix the infrastructure. 0/5 if I could.

Poor customer service and don't answer their phones. I had an agreement with them to cancel my service in November and use my security to deposit for my final bill in December. Received my final bill through mail after a month, which I found out they have deducted so much on my final bill, more than my usual monthly bill. I never miss a payment because I was on pre-authorized monthly payment. I'm so confused because I live on my own, most of the time I am not home due to work. I asked them to investigate or provide just a clear explanation. They wouldn't as it was "finalized". Until now, still wondering where the rest of the security deposit go. Definitely learned lot of lesson from this company. Would not trust again.
