Niagara Kung Fu Academy

This place is my second family. Filled with people who help eachother inside and outside of class. My daughter and I are in our 5th year and we can't wait for the next 5 and beyond. Stellar staff, amazing students and parents. A community that is full of compassion, patience, respect, and integrity. Would strongly recommend to anyone! This place has done nothing but improve our family's lives. Keeping us fit physically and mentally while supporting positive values.

We highly recommend Niagara Kung Fu Academy and Sifu Atalick for any community or cultural event. Sifu Atalick and his team visited Cavendish Manor Retirement Residence to present a special Lunar New Year celebration for our residents, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The Niagara Kung Fu Academy team was punctual, organized, and professional. Their students beautifully demonstrated the true spirit of martial arts — combining discipline, confidence, teamwork, and genuine respect while interacting with our residents. The kung fu presentation was engaging and impressive, and Sifu Atalick created a warm and supportive environment for his team throughout the performance. The lion dance was vibrant, joyful, and full of energy. We even discovered that the lion can wiggle its tail — a detail that showed the students’ attention to detail, authenticity, and performance. Sifu Atalick also led a wonderful, easy-to-follow seated Tai Chi class that our residents thoroughly enjoyed and felt comfortable participating in. Perhaps the most honest feedback came from one of our famously discerning residents: “This one was actually good!” 😄 We are truly grateful for this meaningful and joyful cultural experience.

Niagara Kung Fu Academy has been an incredible experience for my son over the past five years. He’s learned so much more than just martial arts — this program has helped him develop confidence, discipline, and leadership skills. The instructors are great role models who truly care about their students growth. It’s amazing to see how much he’s matured and how these lessons have shaped his character. I highly recommend NKFA for anyone (both young and old) looking for a program that builds strong, confident, and respectful leaders.

NKFA is great for the family to enjoy. It teaches discipline and accountability. It keeps the family active. The best part is we can do it all together while reaching our individual goals.

Niagara Kung Fu Academy is amazing. My daughter went to a "Bring-A-Friend" day over March break and from then on all she talked about was Kung Fu. We ended up signing up for the 2 week trial. She absolutely loved it. All of the instructors are amazing with the kids (and adults) taking classes. Everyone is treated with absolute respect no matter their age or rank. They work with the group to ensure everyone is getting the best out of their experience. They understand that not everyone learns the same and adapt their teaching techniques to help everyone learn the way the suits them. Everyone gets "homework". The "homework is a character builder sheet that basically has the students doing everyday tasks (like making the bed, brushing teeth, eating a healthy snack, etc.). It has made a huge impact on my daughter not only at Niagara Kung Fu when she is there, but at school and in her everyday life as well. She takes what she learns at Niagara Kung Fu (focus, discipline, respect, etc) and incorporates it into her everyday life.
