Niagara Institute Of Music & Arts

This is the second year our children are taking piano lessons at NIOMA. They absolutely love their instructors, Linda and Jade. It's amazing to see how quickly they are learning to play as well as read & write theory. What a great place to learn and be creative right in downtown Niagara Falls!

I took violin lessons here! John is a great teacher because he's friendly, knowledgeable, and has a real passion for music. I highly recommend him!

Probably the best music school ever established! This school starts with the child's (student's) music taste/interest and they just build on it! The encouragement from every member of the staff is phenomenal. The genuine care and the one on one support while in lesson is wonderful but so is the end of year recital where the students and staff take what they have all learned independently and it is all put together in groups. The groups perform together, listen to each other, interact with each other all on stage! The students see their progress from the first night where they pick their song to perform to the grand finale where the audience is cheering FOR THEM!! ALL aspects of the live entertainment industry are there for the students to learn. My children went to this school for 10 years and even though they no longer attend lessons, NIOMA is still part of our world. Definitely a true asset to Niagara and to the culture!

Since moving to Niagara about 6 years ago, I registered my kids for music at NIOMA and was impressed with the love for music they instilled in them. They now play both the piano (thank you Linda) and guitar (thank you Justin). My daughter was always encouraged to pursue her singer/songwriter dream and now at the age of 17 will be releasing her debut EP. I can’t thank the NIOMA team enough for being like a second family, and not just providing lessons and encouragement, but also several opportunities to perform around Niagara as well! I would highly recommend them to everyone!
