I want to give a heartfelt public shout-out to the amazing staff at St. Catharines Hospital. Over the past few months, our family has faced some unfortunate health challenges that required visits to several departments, including Emergency, ICU, the Fracture Clinic, Surgical/OR, and the Pediatric Unit. Throughout every visit, the care we received was consistently outstanding. The staff were not only professional and efficient, but also compassionate and supportive during some very stressful moments for our family. As a nurse myself, I couldn’t help but notice how well the teams communicated, how organized they were, and how committed they were to keeping us informed every step of the way. Thank you to every staff member who played a role in caring for our family. Your hard work, dedication, and kindness truly make a difference. Please know that your efforts do not go unnoticed. Keep shining and continuing the incredible work you do every day.

Been here about three times since 2023 and 2024. Had a swallow test done here and the person who worked on my swallowing was really good and help me with my swallowing. The second time visited my friend after his surgery. Third time when my friend was in the mental hospital. Facilities are well up to date, need some bread crumbs to help get around the hospital. 5 stars from me.

My baby had a 103-degree fever and suddenly had a seizure. He was not able to breathe properly and his chest was completely congested. My wife and I were extremely scared and in shock. It was the worst moment of our lives. As soon as we reached the emergency department, the hospital team acted immediately without wasting a single minute. Within 10 minutes, they started treatment and stabilized my baby. They saved his life. The emergency doctors and the entire medical team showed incredible speed, care, and dedication. We will always be grateful to them. For us, they are nothing less than God. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will never forget what you did for our family. 🙏

The waiting room will keep you waiting. But the emergency department saved my life, had the most attentive staff, friendly nurses, doctors who actually care. I have never seen such amazing and knowledgeable staff. I had surgery complications from another hospital and they literally saved my life. I am proud to have them so close to home. Not only have they earned my trust, proven me wrong, they saved my life and I’ll always be in debt to them. Shout out to the st Catherine’s paramedics. I’m at a loss for words at their professionalism and guidance. If I could give them 100 stars I would. When I fully recover i WILL be bringing boxes of goodies to everyone in that wing.

My son had a paediatric surgery a few weeks ago and we were impressed. Since the moment we stepped into the hospital we were greeted by helpful staff members and volunteers, they were all knowledgeable and kind- we could see that they genuinely trying to help you. The nurses were fantastic! They were thoughtful, competent and made my son and my family heard. We had to stay overnight due to complications, but were admitted immediately after the surgery. The room was great, it had new equipments, comfortable size and a nice window view. The Ronald McDonald Room was a plus and a life saver since we had no food nor toiletries for the day. The volunteers there were very sweet and supportive too. 5/5 stars, specially for a hospital experience!
