I stayed in one of the basic cabins in October while in St. Catharines for Cicada Music Festival. This made for a good home base, as it is just a 20 minute drive to the festival. I got one of the cabins with A/C, which was good because it was a rare summer-like 25 degree celsius weekend. The windows in the cabin open and have screens, so A/C might not be important to you. I had heard about the train noise at the back of the campground, and I was concerned when I realized most of the A/C cabins are at the back. I did hear the train on night 1 only, and it was loud, so if you are a light sleeper I might recommend selecting non-AC because most (not all) of the non-A/C cabins are further away from the tracks. All cabins have electricty (I asked, for CPAP machine), and a nice porch and two tables. The main bed seemed to be double-sized, not queen, so cozy for two people but do-able. This KOA is extremely convenient for visiting Niagara Falls. There is a city bus stop across the street that runs every half-hour and it is only $3.50 to get to the upper-upper top of Clifton Hill. The bus drops you a 10-minute walk to Clifton Hill and a 30-minute walk to the actual Falls, so this might not be for everybody. FYI, parking near where the bus drops you was around $10 but parking closer to the Falls was $35. I loved that although this KOA is smack-dab on a busy city street, once you were in the park it was like any other KOA. Being able to have full busy days and then a campfire and the ability to cook meals outside was great.
View on GoogleThis was the most amazing KOA we've stayed in! A big variety of places to stay, lots for the kids to do, nice laundry & showers. & the best part of all, 2 hot tubs right beside the indoor pool!!! & a sauna that was closed up after the staff left... The staff was friendly & they hav a great campstore with lots of souvenirs! Also right across the street is a transit bus stop.
View on GoogleThis is a beautiful and very enjoyable campground with lots of activities for children. There is both an indoor and an outdoor pool, and for adults a relaxing indoor hot tub. The location is excellent, very close to Niagara Falls, which makes it an ideal base to explore the area. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the washrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. All in all, it’s definitely worth staying here and a place we would happily return to.
View on GoogleWe had an amazing weekend at Niagara Falls KOA! The entire park was very clean and well cared for, with staff always around making sure everything was perfect. Washrooms and showers were large and spotless. The 3 pools were great and never felt too busy. Daily activities were fun, well organized, and added so much to the stay. Overall, a fantastic campground we’ll definitely return to!
View on GoogleWe had so much fun last year we came back! Kids are 11, 9, 7 and 5. We stayed 4 days and no one was bored for a second. They have several crafts and activities you can participate in and most are free on top of all the games and amenities that are included. Everything is very clean and well maintained again this year. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'm not really sure what you could complain about unless you had bad weather the whole time!
