Used this service ,nothing but Nuisances, Anyone that doesn't know what that means,it means-A Person,Thing,Or Circumstance Causing Inconvenience Or Annoyance !!!

Did nothing but attempt to do my resume over and over again. If this is all they do they should advertise it as a resume creating place not a job seeking help. They won't help you actually look for a job you have to do EVERYTHING on your own when it comes to applying and looking through the job boards. I figured they could have at least suggested jobs to me or take my resume they helped me create and take it upon themselves to send out a few applications for me. Nope nothing remotely close to that kind of service was provided. Don't waste your time in the exit email the employee couldn't even spell "Congratulations" correctly they spelled it "Congradulations" if that gives you any idea into the intelligence level of the employees that work there, can't even use spell check in a world where your phone will basically do that for you. After you find yourself employment your also stuck with them for a year in what they call "Retention" and you cannot move to a different agency if you wanted to find someone else to assist you looking for a job you're stuck with them and forced to do it on your own or wait to be removed. This just told me all I needed to know, however about the job seeking help places, they are not competent and they only see you as a number for funding to increase their bottom line. They only thing they continued to contact me back was to find out if I was still employed as I'm sure they will get a bonus connected to my account now that I not only am still working but I secured better employment, ON MY OWN I might add if that already isn't clear. Again please choose someone else, this was the worst experience I ever had trying to receive help from someone.

The people are very welcoming and friendly, but unless you need help writing a resume and looking up job search websites, I didn’t find anything terribly helpful. I was given a list of job search engines I’d already been using, and all of the key words on my resume were removed. Fantastic resume for entry level positions, or fleshing out weak experience, but not at all helpful for specific industry jobs. I was given a second list of doctors that were accepting new patients, but it was very outdated and none were even taking wait list names. There’s far more effort into following up with what’s going on so they can keep funding, an unfortunate necessity, than actually helping people find employment. I’m fortunate enough that I don’t need to use their computers for searching, but even if I did, the library is closer. I really feel like this place could be far more helpful if they were funded properly in the first place. They spend all of their time checking boxes to keep the place open, but that ties their hands for hands on helpfulness.

Very helpful, upbeat staff. If you are a new comer to Niagara region and need help to find employement, this is the place you wanna go. Reception is on point, they follow through, they give meaningful career advice. If you commit to their help, you will most definitely get what you are looking for. Amazing place.

I was referred to the employment help centre by a friend after I had lost my position at a hair salon while I was an apprentice, I lost my job due to a pregnancy and I was actually embarrassed to have to go to the employment centre as I had not had anyone help me with a job search before. After my first appointment with one of the counselors she made me feel extremely comfortable, she introduced me to many resources that I didn't even know existed. She helped me vamp my resume to its fullest potential, she also directed me in my search in a position which I was skilled in I'm so thankful this place was introduced to me, I have told many people about it and that all of you are very helpful especially because jobs are hard to to find these days but with the right help you can find one and be successful! Thanks again for the help I now have a successful job!!!
