I wish I could give zero stars!!! But to leave this comment I had to give one star!! First time in Canada and me and my sister went to the duty free location across the street from the Sheraton hotel. I travel very frequently and never experienced what I experienced at this location for duty free items We walked in browsing wasn’t greeted however when we were approached finally by a worker she quickly asked if we were leaving Canada today. I told her we were leaving in the morning and wanted to shop today because we had a very early flight. She also mentioned it’s cheaper there and that’s why she said we had to leave the day of purchase LOL!! yea I know it’s slightly cheaper but never did I hear I can’t purchase unless we are leaving at the moment smh.. She said we couldn’t shop there unless we were leaving tonight! It was 630pm and there wasn’t a way to get there in the morning we were also leaving from buffalo airport at 8am and had a taxi picking us up. She said we could ask our taxi to drop us to a different duty free location in the morning smh that’s insane! Even if I said we left tonight was she checking itineraries? Because multiple people came in and brought stuff and SHE DIDNT ASK THEM ANYTHING HMMM! But I will never go back and forth to spend my money so I left!! I didn’t get the employees name however I hope you all get better employee because tourism is important! overall it was a horrible experience and even if I decide to visit Canada again I will NEVER go back to that location.

We used to always stop here on our way back across the border, but every time we have tried to stop recently, the hours have randomly been different. Now it’s only open 8am to 8pm and once you pull in the parking lot you can’t leave, so if you have to go to the bathroom before waiting on the bridge, you are SOL. If the duty free is closed, the gates to the lot shouldn’t even open.

Clean, well stocked. Prices were cheaper then back in the states. No customers due to the time of year but plenty of clerks working.

It's not a trip across the border if you don't make a stop at the Duty Free store! This one is located in a very convenient spot right by the main tourist district in Niagara Falls on the Canada side. It's a standard duty free store that's well organized and stocks all the greatest hits of shops like this: perfume, Canadian souvenirs, cigars, toys, candy and snacks, and lots of liquor! There are a few handbags and sunglasses too. There's a nice selection of Canadian wine and spirits, and most of the major brands are well represented (Grey Goose, Absolut, Johnnie Walker, and all sorts of beer and more). In fact, a bottle of Wayne Gretzky's cream liqueur or a pack of mini bottles of Niagara-On-The-Lake Ice Wine would make awesome gifts for friends and family back home. I'd say the majority of the store is dedicated to booze and perfume / cologne. Pro tip: make sure you use the restroom before leaving, because the border crossing can notoriously take a LONG time to get across. The bathrooms were pretty dirty the night I visited, but I am guessing that's because of the sheer volume of visitors that come through the doors. This is quite a popular tour bus stop. This shop has a huge parking lot that overlooks the falls (so be sure to go take some pictures before you leave)! You cannot make any purchases here unless you are on your way back into the United States, so take note. The parking lot road leads directly to the bridge and there's no place else to go. Purchasing here works like a standard duty free shop: you make your purchase, they record your license plate, then you drive around to a pick-up window to collect your goods. The road leads you straight over the bridge from the Canada to the U.S.A., so don't even think about being able to turn back into Canada from the store! They take both Canadian and American money, which is cool. It's a great way to get rid of some foreign currency before you head to the U.S. They will give you change in either currency, just ask for what you want. I always love browsing Duty Free stores and although I purchased nothing, it was fun to stretch my legs and look around. They are open every day from 7 am - 11 pm.

They have great deals on liquor bottles and perfumes for both men’s and women’s. The staff were so friendly and nice and were ready to help you out with anything you need. And once you buy something from here you can cross the border directly from here so you don’t have to go out to the main Street.
