We are grateful to have Dr Siddiqui part of our mom’s care team and the care she provides. She is compassionate, understanding, and always takes the time to truly listen. Every appointment leaves us feeling heard, validated, and supported, with a clear understanding of my mom’s care plan. Her knowledge goes far beyond diabetes, and she has been a tremendous support to my mom’s overall health. The staff have also been very helpful and kind, making each visit a positive experience. We are so thankful and blessed to have her and her team as part of my mom’s care team.Thank you .
View on GoogleThis clinic will have you wait months for an appointment with a “specialist”, cancel it last minute, and then not automatically rebook you in for a new appointment. They will instead call you when new appointments become available and if you don’t pick up the phone in time because you’re at work, instead of giving you a priority appointment date, they will give it to someone else. You will call them every day when you have the time to but they won’t pick up the phone and by the time you finish your shift at work their business hours are over. By the time you finally reach them there are no appointment dates available, or the only one available is months out, rinse and repeat. I have been trying to reapply for an insulin pump for months after my ADP funding got cut off due to “not having regular doctor’s appointments.” How am I supposed to when half of the appointments you book here get cancelled? This is the third time I’ve had an appointment cancelled on me after months of waiting, each has happened with a different doctor/specialist (I will not name them out of respect)... I have been in and out of the hospital 4 times last year for mental health and diabetes related complications. I understand doctors can’t make it to the clinic because they are sick/weather is bad etc but in this case I should be given a priority appointment automatically. It makes absolutely no sense, you wait months for an appointment, it’s cancelled on you, and then you get a call asking to rebook for next month, you can’t get a hold of the clinic and by the time you do your appointment is pushed back 4 months after you initially booked it. They did automatically rebook one of the appointments for me which was great but they do this rarely it seems. I also have no idea why they are also relying entirely on phone communication when clients work during the clinic’s business hours and the clinic gets presumably busy and cannot answer the phone. The only time I’m able to contact the clinic is when I’m on break at work. Email would completely resolve this issue, but they only book appointments by phone for some reason. I live by myself, have no family, and struggle with severe mental health issues along with type 1 diabetes. I struggle to take care of basic needs and struggle even more so without an insulin pump. I lost ADP funding after a long battle with depression and I have spent the past few months trying to get my life back together. I cannot get back on an insulin pump until I have appointments with different specialists but they all keep getting cancelled or rescheduled months out. I am losing hope at this point and soon will fall back into the same hole I started from.
View on GoogleNiagara Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic has provided an exceptional standard of care, and our experience with Dr. Delrue has been truly remarkable. She is exceedingly patient, attentive, and thorough in her examinations of my brother, Ehab Basha. She is never rushed, takes the necessary time to assess his condition carefully, and explains every aspect of his management plan with clarity, compassion, and professionalism. Her clinical assistant is consistently gracious, courteous, and respectful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that eases the stress often associated with medical appointments. The receptionist is equally warm and considerate, ensuring, that every interaction, whether in person or by phone, is handled with kindness and efficiency. This level of dignity, sincerity, and attention to detail is rare in modern healthcare. I highly recommend Niagara Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic, particularly Dr. Delrue, for anyone seeking expert endocrine care delivered with genuine humanity.
View on GoogleDr Surendran took her time with me and explained what was happening with a new diagnosis. She was patient, knowledgeable, and respectful. Receptionists were friendly, in person and over the phone.
View on GoogleThis office is very unprofessional. They have a policy that if you don’t show up to the appointment, there is a $60 penalty before rebooking. I missed my appointment today and when I realized I did, I left them a voicemail to which Dr Surendran’s assistant calls me and tells me that I will no longer be seen by Dr Surendran anymore. I tried to help her recall their own policy as I was okay to pay $60 for the missed appointment. She simply tells me that I need to go see my family doctor now and then tells me to have a good day before hanging up. It’s one thing to not follow the policy even when a patient is ready to pay the penalty following the policy and a whole another thing to not let the patient finish the conversation leaving them in the lurch not caring for their condition no matter how sensitive it could be. But I guess it’s fine since now I can hope to get connected to a doctor who’s also a human being. I know with doctors these days it’s money over human life and knowing that I was ready to pay the $60. Hopefully I can find someone with Humanity over money. As for the doctor’s assistant, I really hope you become Dr Surendran’s patient one day
