Felt very rushed and not listened to. Reading some of these reviews shows that Dr. Sloan is very quick to make a diagnosis even before hearing all the symptoms. I was there for less then two mins from the time he walked in and walked out. He then sent another girl in without saying who she was or her role at the clinic that tried to push a 75 dollar body wash. It also seems biased that the person replying to these reviews is not only his office manager but also his wife.

What a waste of time. Why bother even coming to the appointments? As soon as he comes in the room he's ready with his hand on the door handle to leave just as fast... Unless you're buying his skincare. If you're concerned about suspicious moles I'd advise to go elsewhere as he doesn't even use a dermascope to closely look at new/changing spots that I have witnessed. He quickly glances at them and says "you're fine" and tries to get out of the room as soon as possible. And seeing the condicending, gaslighting comments the staff is leaving on other people's reviews is laughable. Definitely confirming I will not go back and will never recommend this office to anyone.

I never bother leaving Google reviews but my gosh. I read previous bad reviews and was more intrigued than anything when going to my appointment and was shockingly met with the same level of care. I put on my intake form that I wanted another person in the room and I was not interested at skincare products, and yet! no one else in the room, and I was offered various skincare options about 4 separate times during my 10 minute visit. I went in for a basic mole check and before the door even closed to the room the doctor said “Oh bit of sun damage!” — Bruh. Not what I’m here for. Moles were barely even glanced at, definitely not throughly examined. Was told I have possible precancerous bump on my nose and somehow didn’t feel it necessary to examine the rest of my face to see if there are other concerning areas. And for some random reason I was asked if I was married and had children??? FOR WHAT? Now I get to sit around and be paranoid I might have skin cancer on my face while I wait for a second opinion! My gosh, avoid this clinic if possible. The second he walked into the room it felt like he was just waiting to leave. I don’t need to be handheld through an appointment, but I at least want my doctor to be throughout.

In 2022, Dr Kevin Sloan helped me, when nothing else I was prescribed worked. It is now 2026, and every time I get a flare up on my skin. I use the cream he prescribed. And I am so very thankful for that. So now that I am having another issue with my skin, I will contact them again. The staff he has are always pleasant. A very good atmosphere at his practice.

Reply: You are providing wrong information. The correct information is on the government website and easy to read. You are making people pay for a service that is covered through OHIP. It is your job to processes the payment through OHIP, not the patient's job. My card is valid and I've been using it with no issue. You would have known this if your staff would have tried to process it. You have refused medical care and I will be filing a complaint. I recommend you contact Service Ontario and educate yourselves. Review: After waiting over 6 months to be seen, ALL 4 front staff refused to take my red and white card because "they don't take that card here" despite me showing them that Ontario.ca website states that it should continue to be accepted for insured heath services. They informed that all their services are through OHIP or cash, they don't take extended health benefits. They didn't even try to process my health card card. They just refused. The option I got was to pay $150 or produce a green card to be seen today. I was not willing to pay, so they refused care. I asked what happens next and the one receptionist said I could get the referring doctor to send a new referral to a different doctor. They believe that because they're a specialty office that the rules don't apply to them. They said that because they are a specialist they cannot/don't have to take the card. They have a post in their office stating that these cards are no longer accepted as of July 2020 (see photo). The Ontario government has NOT set a date as of yet and these cards are still billable. I will be filing a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons for refusing care. Today's date: Tues Nov 18, 2025
