Harassing, intimidating, and not accessible to disabled consumers. NCRI repeatedly called me aggressively and left voicemails using confusing, threatening language that I do not understand. They failed to follow proper first-contact requirements and did not clearly explain my rights as a consumer. When I explicitly asked for proof of the debt and informed them that I have a developmental disability that affects my ability to process complex information, I requested that all communication be provided in plain, accessible language. This request was ignored. Instead of accommodating my disability, they continued pressure tactics and proceeded to report me, which felt punitive and retaliatory. The written correspondence I received was filled with legal jargon and alarming phrases clearly designed to intimidate rather than inform. Calls and voicemails also contained vague and confusing language that caused significant distress. Under Ontario law, collection agencies are required to communicate clearly, fairly, and without undue pressure—especially when dealing with a disabled consumer who has disclosed accessibility needs. NCRI’s conduct does not meet these standards. This experience was stressful, overwhelming, and inappropriate. I would strongly caution others, especially disabled or vulnerable consumers, when dealing with NCRI.

View on GoogleThey want $$ but have no documents to back it up. Send you payment instructions without any background information. Don't be such scammers.
View on GoogleI had a tenant renting a property of mine and they didn’t pay a bill. Immediately was sent to collections where I was not called or emailed by the company. I paid the bill immediately when seeing it was on there as I always am up to date. They refused to remove it even after it’s been paid. This company doesn’t do there job correct by business. I can understand someone not paying and you want are seeking damages. When someone isn’t even aware a bill is outstanding and pays that’s absurd. Gross company.
View on GoogleI have spoken to numerous people including Mike Nelson that they are contacting the wrong person but still continue to badger me. They have sent me a ton of info via email about someone else's debt that is owed. About $14k is owed by someone in Canada with the same name as me. He tried to tell me I never spoke to him but was able to show him an email reply to him that he had the wrong person. I have called him twice now and they said they would stop contacting me but haven't. The guy owes them $150 a month and hasn't been paying. Now I am not up to date on the laws in Canada as I am American but out here it is super illigal to give out information about a debt to anyone who isn't the debtor. Wonder if that is the same in Canada? Hope this makes it clear Mike.
