Nails For You

This is my go to nail salon and usually they do a super good job, however today was not the case. The staff were unprofessional, did a poor job, and lazily fixed mistakes! The man doing my nails was on FaceTime the whole time he was doing my nails, talking and texting with someone else. Also, the base coat colour was not dark enough to cover the buffing marks on all of my nails, only one coat of colour was applied. Lastly, they did not even fix my nail which was my whole reason for going to the salon. I went in for a bio gel removal due to lifting from my nail on my pointer finger. I was told a bio gel fill would fix this, so I agreed. I checked in multiple times to fix the lifting and was told it would be fixed. I went to leave and the nail was still lifting. I had to go back to the store, they then filed down my natural nail, ending up having to remove the bio gel as I originally had asked for, and ruining my natural nail. Then, they “fixed” the nail with acrylic powder, doing a very poor job. The nail was much shorter than the rest, with a different French Tip pattern. It was done in haste and very haphazardly.

I have been going to this nails place for a moment now and Eric has done about 4 sets for me, he is amazing!! He really focuses on his job and communicates well with clients about their needs and if everything is okay. Absolutely love it!

I honestly can't say enough good things about this nail salon. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and taken care of. The space is super clean, the vibe is relaxing, and the service is Impeccable. The staff are not only friendly but insanely talented – they really take their time to make sure your nails are perfect. Whether you're going for a classic look or something fun and creative, they always deliver. My nails have never looked better or lasted longer! This is hands-down my favourite nail place of all time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, and care!

This location of Nails for You is the BEST! The service is always warm and welcoming, they have an amazing attention to detail, and I have never left disappointed. Every time I come in with a design in mind they are so eager to help make it a reality. Started coming here 4 years ago and haven’t looked back.

Sept 18th, 2024: Updating my review because this is just crazy. I was here a month ago and asked for a new set, to clean nails, and put on fresh gel. The lady insisted I just get a refill, said my nails looked fine despite some lifting. I specifically said I was worried about trapped water and infection because the gel was lifted.. she said “no, your nails are good still.” Welp, I just went to Oakville Nail Bar for a fresh set and wouldn’t you know.. couple of my real nails are cracked and my thumb is infected!! They had to cut all my nails short and told me to go see my doctor. Unbelievable. August 17th, 2024: Always frustrating.. I’ve been here many times and you always leave disappointed. Although they always have availability on short notice (makes sense). They never seem to follow the picture, whether that be the shape, colour or design. And when I come in, I ask for exactly what’s in the picture. They charge me either $75 or $80 when i come for a REFILL on BioGel.. those prices are not even for a new set. I ask for a new set and they insist on just a refill. Prices seem to be made up on the spot. I’ve brought my step daughter here a few times and for a lesser design and shorter nails, they usually charge me more for hers. Also, I always question the cleanliness as the nail files and buffers are always well-used. And when they use the instruments to shave down the gel, they never take the tips off to sanitize.. they just hang the tool back up?
