M.T. Bellies

Thank you for rectifying my order! I am appreciative of the responding manager’s attention and kindness towards addressing the mishap with my order on February 10th, in the late evening. Not the kindest handoff upon receipt of receiving the make-up order today. But at all the times my family and I have presented, we have had good interactions with the staff and a good experience. If you want to see the absolute opposite of boring, look no further than M.T. Bellies. This place is the popular kid for a reason—they actually put effort into every single aspect of the experience. While other "loony bin" restaurants in town think a limited menu is acceptable, M.T. Bellies hits you with a massive variety of food options that actually make it hard to choose because everything looks elite. They didn't leave out anything; it’s a localized paradise for anyone who actually enjoys flavor and creativity. But the real reason they are the greatest? The kids' menu. Most places treat kids like an afterthought with three basic items, but M.T. Bellies is out here putting Chicken Parm on the kids' menu. That is legendary behavior. It shows they actually respect their customers regardless of age. The staff is super nice, the service is top-tier, and the atmosphere has an actual personality that isn't just relying on how old the building is. If you’re looking for the best vibes and the best food in Welland, this is it. No contest. Absolute pure excellence!

My party and I had so much fun at M.T. bellies. The staff were all very friendly and nice. They shared the store lore with us which was super fun. A party of 14 was in and out in an hour and a half after 8:30pm. The atmosphere is awesome and they were very knowledgeable about allergies and open to requests and customizing the menu. Tim M. WAS SO MUCH FUN. He really made the night, I don't know if I would've enjoyed our dinner as much as I did without him.

I visited this restaurant twice while in the area on business (I went back the second night because the first was so good!) Eating alone can be awkward - the staff here did a great job of making me feel welcome and not weird for eating out solo. Both dinners were amazing- I’ll be back if I’m in the area again!

I don't get to Welland often so I haven't been to this restaurant in quite a long time (they opened in 1993) But I really enjoyed our visit today. There's a restaurant side and there's a bar side and we sat on the bar side. Really pleasant warm lighting and atmosphere, lively bar but not noisy. (There's also an outside patio) They have live music, they have happy hour specials, they have daily specials. Although their draft beer on tap has a shocking black of stouts and other dark beers, we enjoyed ourselves anyway. The service was friendly fast and fantastic, and the food was great! Fish and chips were wonderful, french fries were particularly good, fish had a great batter to fish ratio. Ham turkey BLT on a pita was also really great. I also enjoyed that they brought out a large glass bottle of freshwater for the table. Definitely will return here!! Prices / menu were accurate as of end of July 2025
