Greetings Fellow Travellers, An unfortunate experience at this shop some years back and thought try again hoping some change but must say that our experience was sadly the same. Giving the benefit of the doubt to their faulty debit system, the pineapple tarts were dry on the bottom and the contents miniscule. Our luck with the chocolate chip cookies was not much better. Don't like to criticize but this place needs to "freshen up" in more ways than one!

Moodie’s Bakery in Niagara Falls is outstanding! The chocolate mousse cake (Mary Anne cake) is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced — truly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Their croissants are buttery, flaky, and fresh, making them the perfect treat any time of day. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the bakery has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. If you’re visiting Niagara Falls, this is a must-stop spot for anyone who loves exceptional baked goods. Don’t miss the mousse cake and croissants — they’re unforgettable!

Such an amazing Bakery! The service is impeccable and so are the baked goods! Highly recommend every single one of the tarts, the croissants, mousse, all the cookies and the chocolate cream cake ( can’t remember the proper name ) but it’s mouth watering !

I’m so glad I found this hidden gem! I’ve been searching for a local bakery that offers a great variety of baked goods, and this place delivers. From their moist, chewy cookies (seriously the biggest cookies I’ve ever had!) to their soft, flaky croissants—and of course, my personal favorite, the butter tarts—everything is incredible. I’ve shared some of their treats with friends, family, and colleagues, and everyone agrees: their pastries and baked goods are top-notch!

We recently visited Moodie's Bakery under its new family ownership, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! While our family isn't typically into sweets, we were pleasantly surprised by their offerings. The mousse was a standout light and flavorful, while the savory muffins, specially the ones with jalapeños, were a delicious treat. The sundried tomato loaf of bread was another highlight, bursting with flavor and perfectly fresh. We also couldn’t resist trying the chocolate cookie, which was rich and satisfying. The variety of baked goods they offer has us excited to return and try even more. I also had the pleasure of meeting the previous owners, who were equally delightful. It’s heartwarming to see the transition to the new owners, and I’m happy to support a local bakery and watch it continue to grow. Highly recommend this charming, family-run bakery!
