Moda Optometry & Eyewear

DO NOT RECOMMEND My wife and I had booked an appointment back in December 2025 scheduled for 26th of February 2026 at 1 pm. We arrived a few minutes early and we're advised by reception that the Optometrist was with another client and it was unknown as she would be ready to see us. As uf people's times are not valuable. We sat down for another half hour and we're completely ignored by the receptionist Roxanne and her assistant. We walked up to reception inquiring as to when the Optometrist would be seeing us after all we took time off work and had been waiting for this appointment since December. Reception said that she had no idea as to when the Optometrist was going to see us knowing that it was almost a half hour into our appointment and she didn't seem to care. We advised her that that's the reason why people book appointments and she simply said "thank you" in a sarcastic tone. We left after telling her to make sure the Optometrist read this review as it doesn't reflect well on her business and that we are PAYING customers and she lost our business. The lack of carelessness by the reception and the reality of not taking their time appointments us unacceptable. We DO NOT RECOMMEND going there. If they care about their clients, have the Optometrist contact us.

Dr. Marchionda is fantastic! Very friendly and good at what she does. She is detailed and takes the time to educate you and make sure you feel comfortable. Great optometrist, would highly recommend.

Dr Marchionda is top notch!!! She is an excellent Optometrist! She is very professional but also very caring and friendly. She takes the time to explain the results of your tests and answer any question you may have. All the staff at Moda Optometry are friendly, professional and provide great customer service! The waiting area is really comfortable and nicely decorated. There is a wide selection of awesome eyewear. Dr Marchionda has been mine and my husbands Optometrist for years and we both highly recommend Moda Optometry.

We have been "patients" of Dr. Marchionda for at least 10 years and cannot speak more highly of her. Not only is she warm & friendly she is a complete professional with a personal touch. Even though we have moved to Toronto we are happy to make the journey for our eye examinations...

Dr. Marchionda is amazing. We've been coming to see her since she was in Burlington. Great shop, great location, and most importantly... fantastic, friendly service! She has a great selection of frames and styles for any person. I'd definitely recommend Marisa for all your eye care needs.
