Miss Dar's School Of Dance

After more than 15 years as a student of Miss Dar, Miss Amber and the rest of their Dance Educators I still can’t say enough great things about this dance studio. The instructors are not only incredibly talented but also genuinely passionate about teaching and helping every student grow, no matter their skill. The sense of community here is amazing, supportive and encouraging. Highly recommend to anyone looking to dance, learn, and be inspired! I’m proud to be a part of Miss Dar’s School of Dance.

I was recently at a recital rehearsal for a friends child. I overheard what sounded like an exchange of words between a parent and the owner of this dance school. I couldn’t believe how disrespectful she was to this paying customer.. and in front of the children. Extremely disrespectful! She literally yelled at the woman “are you listening to me?!” As the woman made the choice to walk away.. again all in front of kids!! I was disgusted to say the least. This woman gives off Abby Lee Miller vibes without the success. If she does this in public I strongly question how she behaves behind closed doors and how she treats the children of parents she chooses to disrespect. My friend was also appalled at this when I told her, she also confirmed that children have come out of class crying or upset because of how this woman speaks to young children. This is a place where parent trust the adults caring for and teaching young children.. I would not trust her to not be abusive mentally and emotionally. She has said that her daughter will not be returning to this dance school.

Amazing teachers! You can really tell they love what they do! Their annual recitals are unlike any other with so much creativity, hard work & professionalism displayed! Definitely the #1 dance school in my books!
