We had a reservation yesterday evening. Upon arrival, there was a family of three ahead of us. The hostess informed them that no walk-ins were being accepted as the restaurant was fully booked. However, after being seated, we noticed several empty tables that remained unoccupied for over 45 minutes, including at least five tables near the stair railing. In terms of the food, the steak was well prepared and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the chicken breast was quite dry and lacked juiciness. Service timing was also slower than expected, we waited over 30 minutes for our appetizer (Bam shrimp) and an additional 20 minutes for our entrées. Not very good presentation. Based on our experience, it did not appear that the restaurant was fully booked, but rather that the kitchen may have been overwhelmed. It seemed there may have been staffing challenges. While I understand that Valentine’s Day is an exceptionally busy occasion, proper planning for such a high-demand evening is important to ensure a smooth guest experience. Overall, I would rate the experience a 6 out of 10. The highlight of the evening was certainly the beautiful view of the Falls and our waitress.
View on GoogleWe visited Milestones over the February long weekend and had dinner on Friday, February 13th. We were staying at the Marriott Fallsview, so the location was very convenient. Reservations were easy to get, which was a nice bonus during a busy weekend. The restaurant itself is large, clean, and located on the second floor of the Marriott. We were seated within 2–3 minutes of arriving, and they accommodated our group of four adults and three kids (including a toddler) with a spacious table. There were several high chairs available in the corner and we were invited to help ourselves. They weren’t in the best condition, but staff wiped one down and brought it over for us. Service was decent but not overly attentive. It was a bit difficult at times to get our server’s attention. We like to order family-style and share dishes, so we requested sharing plates and larger dinner plates — we did have to ask for these (and a few other items) more than once. That said, the food was very tasty. We ordered a mix of salads, appetizers, chicken, ribs, blackened chicken Alfredo, salmon, and rice for the kids. Everything was flavourful and well prepared. The carrot cake for dessert was also excellent. Overall, it was a good experience. Convenient location, good food, and family-friendly, with service that could be a bit more attentive. I’d rate it around 3.5 to 4 stars.
View on GoogleWe visited the restaurant for dinner on New Year day. We waited over 40 minutes for our food. We placed our order before the fireworks, and when we asked, the waiter told us he would hold our food until we returned to the table after the fireworks. We came back as soon as the fireworks ended, but no one checked on us. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes in total for the food. When the food finally arrived, it was very dry and cold. We were very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food, especially considering it was a special occasion.
View on GoogleHad dinner here with a friend, it was both our first time so we wanted to try a few dishes to share. We got Sweet Chili Chicken Bites, Tuscan Bruschetta, Pesto Chicken Penne Asiago and Baby Back Ribs Duo (Korean Short Rib). My favorite is the Tuscan Bruschetta followed by the Korean Short Rib (which you can order as appetizer 😉) This place is definitely worth a try if you like these kinds of dishes. I rated them high as the flavors are so on point that the tiny comments I am about to say aren't substantial for me - we asked for all the dishes to be served at once which would compromise the warmth of some dishes but none of them were warmer than the others when it was served. I wish the chicken bites were a bit tender as that would make it really really perfect as the taste was heavenly! Note: Parking is free for people dining at Milestones (as per the hostess). There wasn't a sign or info regarding this so hopefully this helps someone else!
View on GoogleAll three staff persons we encountered were excellent. The hostess, host and our sever Mitchell were very friendly. Acknowledged it was our anniversary and offered the dessert menu. Everything was delicious. Kudos to the chef! Mitchell was very pleasant. He even snapped a photo of us with the falls in the background. I'm happy with our celebratory dinner. Thank you.
