Not sure they even deserve a star. But it is what it is. Just like every other big bank in Canada, they are terrible. Customer service is woefully lacking so they use shady tricks to get customers in the door. Laughs on me for thinking being a "member"/"owner" means I would be appreciated and treated differently but I see am just another bank account number. Review is for the branch on Fourth Ave&Louth not sure if the others are the but why would they be any different? I have called the contact center and they were clueless.
View on GoogleMy father needs to contact a manager of this agency urgently! He paid the fees and to this day they have not sent the money to Brazil, if they have not sent it they will file a lawsuit! against a meridian
View on GoogleVery kind customer service with a terrible ABM system. And Only 1 ABM to serve all customers needs regardless of how long the transaction takes. You know how there are multiple bank tellers? Now that the bank tellers mobile there is only 1. It seems Nothing can be done in branch anymore except to fix the mistakes the machine causes haha 😄 leads to frustration
View on GoogleI feel like everytime I have to deal with my home branch it's never the same experience. I get one CSR that's amazing, one that doesn't listen, and one that has to rectify the problem. We've been through several personal and small business advisors. Just when we build a relationship, they get moved. No consistency. Thank goodness Sandra is at the front, I still remember her from when I first opened my bank account and she is wonderful!
View on GoogleI was informed today that two Merdian branches in St. Catharines are now `Advice Centres' and that there was no over-the-counter service at either. So, in order to make a withdrawal, I was told that I could use the ABM outside which only dispenses $20 (meaning that I would receive 185 twenty dollar bills for the $3700 I needed to withdrawal) or I could drive across town to another branch in order to access a teller because like I said, you can no longer bank at this bank. I'm not sure what the two tellers at this branch were doing standing behind the counter if they weren't actually assisting customers. If Meridian is going to make it less convenient to do in-person banking (which is likely a cost savings measure despite record profits) then perhaps at the bare minimum, they could update their ABM machines to dispense varied denominations of currency. I wonder if my service fees will be decreasing because you know, less service. Oh, and if you decide that your wallet is big enough to hold those 185 twenty dollar bills, you'll need them to first increase your daily withdrawal limit - an added bonus!
