Meals On Wheels Thorold-St Catharines

The meals keep getting smaller and smaller. Most of the vegetables are not good. I think I could do better for the money. They could work on their menu and use better ingredients specifically the vegetables for the money I want real potatoes and meat. They only have two meals containing real meat. Before I got 2 scoops of the fake potatoes and now they only give one and the portion of meat is reduced to one slice cut in half, overall the portions have been cut in half but the price remains the same at 7 dollars per frozen meal I'm still hungry I use another service that gives you real food not not all possessed and bigger portions. I think you could do much better j
View on GoogleReceived meals for years from Ina Grafton Gage via Meals on Wheels until recently I did not want the new freezer meals from Gourmet Foods due to poor quality, amount & cooking of the food was an issue. I wanted to go back to previous meals but told that they are not available to me since I live in St. Catharines & now am forced to pick them up at Ina Grafton Gage by Paratransit. Apparently I have had volunteer drivers dropping of the freezer meals weekly and now the office states I am not qualified since my address falls out of their area. I thought Thorold & St. Catharines are together now. I am a disabled person who had service for years and now I am not qualified for delivery due to my address? I wonder what the real reason is? Total discrimination. The office could continue to deliver if they made a change or two regarding the volunteer routes but they don’t care whether I get food or not. My review of this office is zero. Abuse of the elderly!!
