Yesterday I ordered 13 Happy Meals for my daughter’s birthday instead of pizza since she doesn’t like pizza, and I thought it would be a fun idea for the kids. Unfortunately, the cashier seemed unhappy about the order, and I overheard a comment to another employee implying that ordering Happy Meals for a birthday was “cheap,” which made me feel quite uncomfortable. It was disappointing because the cost was similar to what I would have spent on pizza, and I was simply trying to do something nice for the children. Thankfully, the kids really enjoyed the Happy Meals and loved the idea, but the interaction at the counter took away from the experience.

Usually this Macdons is good later at night, around 2am and on. But tonight it was brutal. Burgers taste like they have been siting since 10pm. At this time I understand ill be waiting, just make it fresh? The woman at the drive through was on point though.

Most of the tables were dirty or had condiment streak stains. Sat at the cleanest table. Went through 3 baby wipes and it still wasnt clean. The tables and chairs require a CHEMICAL clean down not just a paper towel wipe off. Filthy. The kids playroom doesnt seem to get cleaned as kids come out with blackened hands and socks. Play place is very nicely lit and open though. Son enjoyed it. PLEASE CLEAN BETTER OMG.

My name is Lucien Delean and I do a lot of traveling on my e-bike around the Niagara Peninsula. I sometimes find it difficult to locate a working outlet to charge my bike. I live in Grassy, high above Grimsby on the Niagara Escarpment. I do ministry work with residentially displaced people in the area. The one place I can always count on for help is McDonalds restaurants. The Ontario Street location came through for me today. I’m actually still charging my bike as I text. It was completely drained so I’ve been here quite a while. A very sweet young lady at the drive through named Jessica assured me that I could wheel my bike inside and ‘plug in’. After being somewhat rudely treated by other business establishments in the ‘Downtown’ area of St. Catharines, I was truly appreciative of the kindness shown to me today. Perhaps the ‘Downtown St. Catharines’ folks could hold seminars on the importance of helping people in need who frequent the St. Paul street area. I will pray that they do, for the Lord knows they need it.

Let me start by saying that this review is not for the am staff at this location as they are professional, knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service. This review relates to a complete lack of all of the above displayed by the staff present at this location on Friday December 30th between 5:00 & 5:30 pm. On the way to get my son to his job we decided to pull through the drive through to order a McCrispy meal and joined the line at about 5:02pm. The drive through kiosk closest to the building in the lane we were in appeared to be either malfunctioning or not being operated properly as several orders were taken on the outside lane for every one taken on the inside lane. It took more than 20 minutes before our order was taken. When we got to the 2nd window to pick up our order we were instructed to pull into the drive through waiting area as it wasn’t ready. After waiting for about an additional 10 minutes I went into the restaurant to collect the order. It hadn’t been processed and when I asked for it I was greeted with blank stares by some and ignored by someone who appeared to be a manger but was wearing jeans which seemed out of place even for McDonalds. When I was a teen I worked at McDonalds in Mississauga and know that I could have literally cooked it faster myself. When it was finally presented at about 5:35 pm there was no apology for the wait and no accountability for the incompetence. Someone needs to take those who should be taking the lead at this location to task over a complete lack of customer service. Very disappointed as a customer and former employee.
