Maverick's Donuts, St. Catharines

I have tried five of Maverick's donuts so far: Cannoli, Tiramisu, Lemon Ricotta, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Biscoff. The donuts have more of a drier/crispier texture on the outside and a cake-like dough on the inside which is really unique. The donuts taste excellent with the different cream toppings. My favorite was the Lemon Ricotta. I also got a free specialty coffee because I spent more than $5 and it was a medium-sized coffee.

I was driving by and the sign caught my attention, not sure why I decided to try it, I'm not a huge fan of doughnuts, but I decided to go and give it a chance; This is now my pick for a doughnut spot. The staff is really nice, and patient, lol, I got a bunch to try and I couldn't decide which ones, they all looked so good. From what I had the strawberry doughnut is my favourite. I will 100% be coming back.

Waaay better under the new owners! When my wife and I went under the old owners we didn’t feel like we needed to come back. We’ve been twice under the new owners and have loved it! The donuts were amazing and left us craving more each time! Plus, if you spend more than $5 you get a free coffee. The new owners were able to honour a gift card purchased before they took over!

Stopped in at this Donut shop and i must say these donuts are absolutely amazing! Light, full of flavour ,and so many different kinds of donuts. I was a bit disappointed they didnt have any apple fritters left when i got there, but i was able to snag a few other specialty donuts. I Definitely Will Be Back Maverick!

I really enjoyed my visit to Mavericks. My friend and I actually wondered into the shop because of how pretty it was but stayed for the treats and good service! There’s a million flavours of donuts to choose from, even some that are accommodating of the levels of sweet you can handle and dietary restrictions! They also have really nice beverages. If you’re living in the area it’s definitely a place to check.
