Avoid if neurodivergence is at all a feature of why you're seeking support. I was formally diagnosed autistic six months ago. In the midst of some unimaginable life circumstances, therapist R. P. unintentionally but unthoughtfully triggered an autistic meltdown in a session, and then used the meltdown as a reason to stop seeing me - reinforcing a lot of what I was in therapy for - under the guise of "care". Offers to "transition" me to a new therapist fail to take into account how much work and time it takes to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with a new care provider, especially with an ND portrait. So I've been left without non-crisis mental healthcare in a safe, established therapeutic relationship while still actively managing these life circumstances, due to a moment of vulnerability that a therapist is supposed to be able to hold space for. If R. P. didn't have the skills to support autistic patients, this was neither the time nor the way to stop care.

I am so thankful for Heidi. She has such a pleasant and caring energy allowing me to feel safe enough to share my thoughts. I have benefited so much from her help learning to better understand myself and my emotions. I highly recommend Maternal Health Niagara!

Emily helped me process birth trauma after my first birth and helped me prepare for my second birth. She has been a key support person for me throughout my motherhood journey and I am eternally grateful for her expertise, kindness, and her passion for helping families. I’ve also been apart of the mama vibes group which was also very helpful. If you need someone to talk to please reach out to Emily and her team, pregnancy, birth and parenting is hard and maternal health niagara is there to help!

Maternal Health has been my savior. Jessica has been an absolute game changer in my mental health. I have seen at least 6 therapists that do the usual "and how does that make you feel" the whole time without actually giving resources to help. Jessica has gotten so deep into my PPD and PPA we have found a couple root causes and are working on addressing them. My relationship with my daughter and family and my view of motherhood has been substantially improved. I also see Krista to help me connect with myself and take care of myself. She is also fantastic and has really helped me celebrate the small things and makes me prioritize myself. Emily who coordinated me with these two therapists did a fantastic job with the pairing. Emily is very involved and appears to be a good mentor to her staff which is why they are just so darn good!! 10/10 recommend.

Was dissapointed in Jessica Cleeve after a few sessions. One main problem I had was with health care, ended up being hospitalized for a total of 29 days this year and had to cancel one appointment. She never once reached out to see how I was doing. It has been over 3 months of no contact. I feel it is strickly about being paid and whoever can fill a slot, not about actual client well being.
