Marco Polo Inn

I do not recommend this as your place to stay while on vacation. We got the king room and there were places in the ceiling where the plaster had come off that had not yet been repaired. On Saturday, my wife and I were taking a nap after a long morning of walking and the hotel decided to renovate the room right next to us. There was a bunch of banging around that woke us up. A drunk man sang for three hours one night about 10 to 1 in the morning, before I got sick of it and went and asked the hotel clerk to put a stop to the situation. When I went to the lobby, I could still hear the man from there, so obviously the clerk must of heard as well. The hallways smelled of smoke and had a stench of something really bad, not sure what. On the way down the stair the trash was in bags at the bottom. The trash outside was overflowing. This was by far the worst hotel experience ever. My wife and I finally caved in and went to a nicer hotel for no much more per night. The worst part is there is no refund so I was out the extra nights that I stayed.

Don’t do it. Spend a few more dollars and get a nicer place. This place was not good. Sink was clogged and stuff came up afraid to shower and use the water. Cleaned up with bottled water. Television doesn’t work, pool was not suitable for any human or animal to go in, lady at the front desk was confused, and no elevator. We lugged our baggage up three flights of stairs. Also when we checked in couldn’t find our reservations, all around a disaster. I would never stay here again in my life.

I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, the room is very clean. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here again if I come to Niagara Falls again.

Filthy. Carpet was disgusting. As soon as we walked into the room we were greeted by a cockroach running across the room. Couch was stained and filthy. Toilette was not cleaned from previous user with urine stains all over it. Holes in walls, floors and bathroom falling apart. Staff seemed good and at least white bed sheets were clean. If you are turned off by old run down places then stay away.

The staff was very friendly and helpful during our 2 day stay. You know, at first glance, I thought this hotel was gonna be really terrible, but I was wrong! The rooms were great! The owner is relatively new to this business so I have faith that the hotel will be even better as he goes along
