A very large and nice location near Niagara Falls. Plenty of goods, chocolate in many different flavors and mix of fruits. Maple products are the main selling items, of course. But they do have plenty of other goods for tourists!

Get your maple syrup here and take it home to the US. If you forget and go to order it online, you'll pay twice as much. It is the best maple syrup. Do the free tasting. You'll find one you like.

Maple syrup tasting, chocolate tasting, and a good selection of souvenirs! Prices and quality were typical for tourist shops, but syrup seemed like great quality! A good place to stop with kids especially. Lots of kid friendly food options in the food court and plenty of seating.

What’s good: It’s free to enter and free parking. Always nice when you’re not nickel-and-diming just to get in. The maple syrup tasting is a highlight. You get to try different grades (Golden, Amber, Dark), and staff are generally knowledgeable. If you like stuff that educates as well as entertains, this part delivers. Strong gift/souvenir inventory. If you’re looking for “authentic Canadian stuff” to take home (syrup, candies, fudge, art), this place has it. Clean facilities (bathrooms, etc.), photo ops, good layout. Especially useful for a quick stop. Where it falls short: Prices are often regarded as steep. Several reviews note that souvenir items and food are priced significantly higher than in other shops. Sometimes $3–$5 more for similar stuff elsewhere. Food court = tourist pricing, and portions/quality are hit or miss. If you’re expecting high-end meals, you’ll likely be underwhelmed. Verdict: If I were in your shoes with limited time, I’d say Maple Leaf Place is worth a stop — especially for the maple syrup tasting, the gift browsing, and the photo opportunities. But don’t plan your trip around it being a premium culinary or tour experience. It delivers more on Canadiana charm and tourist spectacle than deep authenticity or value.

We were on our way to Niagara Falls and stopped by here to look around. We tried some syrups and snacks for tasting, the staffs were fabulous on assisting us. My family were all happy with what we got, I would definitely recommend this place!
