Best pub food in St. Catharines! Best Staff and great owners! Bus Trips are so much fun, and the people make this bar great! They also have live entertainment that rocks, and a back room for large party's!!! Not a bad meal on the menu!!!!

AVOID this place. I booked their side room for my retirement party, the owner confirmed I was booked in, & I asked repeatedly how & when I could come in & pay the deposit. I never got a reply. I asked about being able to have a small program to celebrate this life event & got grimaced approval. I also asked about a small time of karaoke & got hesitancy so I proposed a compromise that would not conflict with his aversions. He never responded to my idea. Big gaps of time in his communication, meanwhile he secretly gave my spot to another customer & told me I was out. When I asked why & pointed out the inconsistencies in his reasons, he did not respond. He doesn’t want people to use his bar to celebrate life events, he simply wants people inside to eat his food and drink his crappy beer. Friends from outside the province & country are coming to this, and he screwed up the plans. AVOID!

Service was fast & friendly. Food was a let down. I had a Chicken Parmesan sandwich and I found the patty was reconstituted meat, not true chicken breast. I expect higher quality at a restaurant. My mother had the Fish and Chips and though the portion size was impressive the taste was bland. I cannot be certain but I believe the fish and chicken were previously frozen. There was a very significant difference in the amount of sweat potato fries and potato fries provided as sides. A lot less sweat potatoes. Atmosphere was a sports bar. I arrived ahead of the main dinner crowd and had plenty of space. Some empty tables had visible crumbs on them but cleanliness was acceptable.

Simply Out-Of-This-World AMAZING SERVICE & FOOD!! I had a large party with me here and EVERYONE said how great the food was here!! We loved our waitress and how kind and patient she was with us!! Super clean and very accommodating for a larger party! Definitely would visit here more if we lived closer! A+ to all who work here! Great team work!!

My father brought me here the other night because he said they had one of the best hamburgers in town. I was immediately impressed by the price point of their menu items, which are probably some of the best deals in Niagara. My dad had two massive pieces of fish and chips for only 14 dollars! I ordered a hot steak sandwich, and it exceeded my expectations: generous portions, lots of flavour, and gratuitous amounts of cheesy, buttery goodness. It was one of the tastiest sandwiches I’ve ever had, I wonder what their secret is? Maybe they use garlic butter to grill the bread? Whatever it is, it left me wanting more. The fries were equally satisfying. I think that they were lightly battered, which gave them a tempura level of crispness. In short, Manhattans is the perfect neighbourhood sports bar!
