Mahtay Café & Lounge

One of the best coffee shops downtown St. Catherine's, besides your new favorite hot baverage and a great atmosphere this place offers bathrooms, working outlets, lots of seating, wifi and a stage for open mics and other events! The owner is super nice and welcoming often times working with the rest of the staff, big thanks to Gram for spotting all of us a great cup of tea on the house! Highly recommend!

I love everything about this place, they have a nice selection of beverages but not so much food, the food that is offered is great. I especially love their generosity, it was so thoughtful that I felt encouraged to participate. The owner let's just say his personality matched the environment.

Grunge-inspired coffee shop in the heart of downtown St. Catharines. Friendly service with a chill, calming vibe. The hot chocolate is fantastic, and you can get everything from coffee to craft beer. Great visit!

Mahtay has a special place in my heart, I love it here. New owners are lovely and all my fave menu items are still as delicious as ever. Their mocha latte is the best in town, and I often stop by just to pick up some of their delicious scones!! Love the atmosphere here too! I also wanted to shout out their community spirit. Love their community events board, local artwork, and open mic nights!!

Cute spot, friendly folks, the lattes, both iced and hot were fantastic. The apple crumble croissant was a little messy but delicious nonetheless. The cheddar and chive scone would be really nice warmed up. Overall, I'd recommend this spot to hang out with some friends or a date, a spot to get some work done also. The local artwork is fun, highly recommend stopping by
