Did you know you can buy blinds worth thousands of dollars and if the remote breaks you're totally screwed if they decide to stop making that remote anymore? Buyer beware.

I purchased 7 LouvoLite motors for my blinds through their dealer AVA Window Fashions in Toronto. Every single motor has been stopping working one after the other. I have been contacting Ava window fashion and they had to come in and switch all motors several time for the past year and I've only had them since last year. I am so scared to open and shut my blinds because I am not sure which one of them is going to stop working next. It is such a pain to call, schedule, accomodate the blinds company in my schedule, let alone letting them bring in their large ladders into my house everytime one of the motors stop working on my windows that are 20ft high. I want my money back for these as I do not have the time to deal with each single motor everytime they stop working. How many times would they come into switch them in the future? I think the blind company is also getting tired of my calls and I'm just nothing but disappointed in this purchase. I do not know what to do anymore.

Louvolite sells some really good quality blind systems, and their available fabric selections are always being updated. We’ve been buying from them for over 15 years and their customer service has never faltered. I would acknowledge the staff by name, but everyone there does a terrific job and they are always a pleasure to speak with.
