Long Beach Resort

Late post. We booked 2 suites for a party of 14 for 2 nights. I booked the resort and then made a mistake of going through the reviews again 2 days before the trip. I was a bit hesitant going in but I soon realized that I had nothing to worry about once I got there. The staff is amazing and nothing beats the location and beach! The kitchens were nice but the bathroom and beds could use updating. If you go with realistic expectations of being in a cottage, raw and unfiltered beauty of the location, you will be not be disappointed. With that comes bugs and spiders in summers and the staff did a great job at keeping the outdoors clean. If you are going in hoping for a 5 star hotel room, maybe this is not the place for you! We enjoyed every second of being there and it was a nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

The Long Beach staff was very accommodating for our last minute getaway for my friends in I. This was my second time coming to Long Beach, and I was thrilled with my experience once more. The location is amazing with a beautiful sandy beach. We received a unit upgrade at no additional cost, and the staff were there whenever we needed them. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. What an amazing weekend

Stayed here from 9/6/25- 9/7 for a wedding. While I will say the view is stunning and beach is clean and spacious, for the weekend after Labor Day the price of $800 for 3 bedrooms without AC is absolutely ludicrous for what we got. For starters the rooms and even staircase were filthy, as noted in many other reviews. Filled with flies and bugs and spiders and many spider webs. We legit spent about 20 minutes killing flies upon entering leaving us with a dirty feeling. The toilet seat in the only bathroom was so broken that it was hanging off the toilet. That led me to be afraid the toilet/ bathroom hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest! They did however in all fairness send someone to fix it immediately. The furniture was uncomfortable and outdated, such as brick- like couch and nicked up coffee table. The kitchen was nice and recently renovated however. The other issue was there was not a closet ANYWHERE in a 3 bedroom $800 a night American dollars suite. Since we were there for a wedding there was no where to hang 4 adults’ suits and dresses and coats as it was freezing! The patio, fire pit area and view were absolutely lovely, but due to very cold very windy conditions did not make up for the state of the room. We needed the room to get ready for the wedding, and the only bathroom was so Small I could not fit in near it’s only outlet to bend my elbows to curl my hair. I would unfortunately not recommend this place to anyone and it is not a good value for the money. I would have been upset had this place been $200 a night total, not 4x that. Again these prices were in American dollars and we came over the border. The resort that weekend was full of wedding guests. I did not experience any negative effects from the owners as other reviewers have mentioned.

The staff is truly exceptional! Every member of the staff made me feel like family. It was special. The property is stunning with the nicest part of the beach to enjoy. And the Suites are kept very well stocked and clean, with filtered water machine and modern appliances. The way they light the fire for you or help you with the charcoal barbecue is truly an exceptional added touch. I also really liked the espresso and gelato bar. The other guests were so kind and considerate. The resort was not over booked and offered enough space to really enjoy. If you are seeking an upscale experience with polite and like-minded guests, this is the place for you! If you want to party all night long or make a mess, then you'd better find somewhere else. Well worth the price! You will feel like you are in the Caribbean!!!

eview: Our stay at Long Beach Resort was truly unforgettable. We visited as a family and everything exceeded our expectations. The beds were spotless, the rooms were clean, and the overall hygiene of the resort was excellent. There was a dedicated playground area for children, which was a huge plus — they had so much fun there! The sand on the beach was soft and clean, and the water was crystal clear and absolutely lovely. The kids swam for hours and didn’t want to leave. We also loved the designated fire pit area — it made the evenings so cozy and special. Sitting around the fire as a family was one of our favorite moments. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, personally attentive to every detail, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful, nature-filled, and child-friendly getaway. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
